nicholl2102
I'm managing Everton and with both a 4-4-1-1 and 4-4-2 I can't get my team to play sexy football. All they do is boot it away or pass sideways and I'm struggling to beat my under 18s 2-1 in pre season. I finished fifth last season doing this but it's driving me mental! What advanced settings are needed for in particular midfielders, as I have Tim Cahill only passing to full backs and doing nothing else?! My starting line up is GK: Tim Howard RB: Phil Neville LB: Leighton Baines CB: Phil Jagielka CB: John Heitinga RM: Aaron Lennon LM: Leon Osman/Dinijar Bilyaletdinov CM: Marouane Fellaini CM: Tim Cahill CF: Edin Dzeko CF: Yakubu
Tafse
It's hard to give any advice without you telling us what you are doing. It's tempting to say "it's your tactic", but I don't know what it is, so.
Detritus
The match engine prefers direct football, nothing you can do will change this.
nicholl2102
Well I've tried everything, all different types of tempos, strategies, individual player settings but no matter what they don't do anything useful. Just got beat 4-0 by Stoke who are on the back of 19 game losing streak. I tell everybody to press but nobody bothers closing down, I tell people not to shoot from long range often yet Fellaini had 9 shots which were off target in that game? Losing my rag. Santa Cruz
Check out my thread "what's going on" if it won't work for Chelsea I can't see it ever working. Sorry I can't offer any hope.
