  1. I also have been wondering this but I do not think there is a lot of advice out there for it yet. But here are a few things I have been doing. Take these with a grain of salt as I am only a season and a half in from a game I imported from FM23 on my Switch. During preseason, if you put the training to be handled by your assistant, they are able to have preseason training while you are unable to select this option normally. I am unsure if this is better than selecting to train physical (Or even anything else entirely). For big games, I usually try to have big matches trained the week before and the week during. Change the intensity schedule and adjust it according to your schedule congestion. I usually have 2 games a week, so I have from condition very poor to condition excellent None/Half/Half/Normal/Double but I would probably have this be more intense if I only had one game a week. Using this, I no longer have to manually send my players on vacation for a day after every game. If you decide to let your assistant control it, I would say to keep an eye on what they decide to do. Especially during big game weeks. I once had my assistant choose to do physical training when we had a champions league knockout game and a game against a rival during the same week. I had to do a full rotation for the second game as I noticed it too late.
  2. I played FM 22, FM 23, and FM 24 on the switch and I really consider the jump from FM 22 to FM 24 to be significant. More control over training and set pieces are nice. I personally do not use the datahub much, but it is nice as well. There are a decent amount of bugs, but none for me have been game breaking. I would say at the very least, wait for a sale at more than 20% off or wait and see the announcements for FM 25 on the switch as there are supposed to be significant changes with that version. That said, I am uncertain if the changes to the core game on PC will be easily ported to the console versions.
  3. In my experience the youth academy coaching and youth facilities lean more towards improving the current ability of the newly spawned newgens. The youth recruitment and reputation is what helps to get the players with a high potential ability. Unfortunately, in the Touch version, we only really have control over youth facilities while the board control the youth academy coaching and youth recruitment.
  4. After creating a manager I am not able to make any change to the manager after creation. I go to the manager screen and then go to edit and after going through all of the steps I click confirm and when I go back in to look at the manager, none of the changes have applied. I have also tried changing the manager by creating a new save and changes from there do not carry over either. Not that I expected it to, I was just trying to get a change to work. Steps to replicate * Create a new game with a manager. * In the new game, go to the manager screen and edit the manager. * Make some changes and confirm (R1) all the way through. It is a bit easier to confirm if you make changes that are obvious. * Once the manager has been saved, go back in to edit and you will see that the changes did not apply. This was in version 24.1
  5. Unity has announced some new changes to their pricing model that are a bit surprising. It is adding a fee based on each individual installation. This includes reinstalling the game as well. Does this change anything with the plans for developing FM25 in Unity? At the very least I imagine it throws a wrench in the revenue estimates. According to the previous article announcing the FM changes, they had over 5 million players. This means it could be as little as a $50,000 fee or as high as a $1,000,000 fee assuming one single install per user. While this is not a large fee for a company of this size, the randomness of it might give them a pause to potentially using Unity as a development platform. Especially since this could potentially be used by malicious actors to attempt to punish SI. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/unity-will-start-charging-developers-each-time-their-game-is-installed-214851801.html
