You'll also see in that screenshot that despite ordering that column with the highest value at the top, it displays the 2.47 value ahead of the 2.48 value. I've resorted the columns to see if it was just having a moment but it consistently places Akil Wright ahead of Shaun McWilliams.

I've noticed this too. Feels like something that's only started since the new patch but cannot confirm for sure.

In my current season (all on this ME), I've played 19 games, had 8 penalties, scored 3 and missed 5.

I've got the same issue. Infuriating that, 15 years into a save, I finally produce two players from the academy and both of them want to leave because they are "surplus to requirements" when they play every week.

Has anyone figured out a way to brute force it to a different status? I've tried changing 'agreed playing time' from different screens to see if it forces an update somehow but no joy. The academy graduates were the only thing keeping the save alive for me still so this bug could kill FM22 for me if I can't fix it

[Player rejects loan extension despite wanting loan extension]

A bit of extra detail.

• Once Jenkins-Davies went back to his parent club on the 30th June, the parent club (senior affiliate) refused to loan him to me as they wanted him to player with higher quality players.
• Meanwhile, they accepted another loan deal for Shirley but he still rejected it. He now has no loan interest according to the scout report.
• When this happened the season before, the player rejected the extension before the original deal ended. Then rejected a loan offer after the original expired. But was happy to join me on a permanent deal instead.
