However, if I'm paying two fitness coaches, a head sports scientist, two sports scientists & 5 physios a few grand a week, I expect a bit more than a discoloured heart & arrow symbol when it comes to knowing how far away a multimillion pound player is away from being fit. A 'vague guide' isn't good enough IMO.
You can hover over the heart and it gives you a lot more info

In my opinion if I put 0 stars (5 gray ones) it should return basically every player available in the area of my scouting range, that's why Recommendation Focuses exist, to make custom searches automatically.
If I'm trying to find a 1 CA, 3 PA player, it should have a good pool of players being found. but somehow this year's game simply doesn't find the players at ALL.
If I try to find a 5 grey star CA, 1 PA player, it should return 90% of the players of the database, but I can bet I won't get near 20 recs.Maybe try what I suggested and then come to conclusions. You'll never get 90% of the database with extensive knowledge after 2 weeks in any focus.

And I'm not pretending like it's death threats and anarchy (we've not gotten that bad, luckily) but look at Dynamic PA as an example. Communicated as a new feature, and everyone got excited. Way too excited in a lot of cases, because what they imagined that meant was way off what SI imagined it meant (the latter being a lot closer to reality in my opinion). Could that have been communicated more effectively to stop the hype train? Possibly, but it shows that positivity can be a problem too when it gets out of hand.
Ultimately, certain people just have a stance in mind, and they'll twist anything to fit that. I see nothing but negatives to SI really starting to communicate more. Anything that lessens that pushes it into "what's the point" territory.
When was dynamic PA communicated as a new feature? Or you mean dynamic youth rating?

Tested scouting with Barcelona
Hopped on a new save and tried finding a DM
After 2 weeks the focus was filled with in progress players. Are they good enough for Barca? No. Only Rodri could replace what Busquets was doing.
But is Rodri on the list? Also, no.
And that is the issue I find. I find that my scouts find good number of players but Rodri is well known enough that he should be first option scouts go to when they get an assignment for a DM at Barca.
Another question is, did Rodri not appear in focus because he is worth 250m and Barca has negative budget? Or did Rodri not appear because he has no interest in joining Barca?
Both questions are for the devs of the game to answer but Rodri indeed has no interest in joining Barca

Am more than happy with ME. Is it perfect? Hell no, far from it. But it's extremely enjoyable to me. Some issues I had were fixed in this round of fixes. I mean, the numbers speak for themselves

But it clearly states in FAQ and 'how to' thread to put PKMs. I do not understand why it's so hard to grasp that. I can see clearly why SI decided not to ask for PKM after he replied to another user who asked for more data before SI could probably even look at the thread.
Thread was open at 14:38 and he said he will not give pkms or any data just an hour later.
What is SI supposed to reply to that? Seriously asking, because I am curious what you think is appropriate response from SI?

Problem is not that experiment is detailed very clearly (it's not, it is missing plenty of data relevant to how ME works) but that the EXACT settings cannot possibly be replicated.
