Anyone else feel its impossible to not win a championship on the last day ?
With 6 games to go I lost to spurs away to go level on pts, with 2 games to go I lost at home to Brentford for spurs to go 3 pts clear with better GD.
Last game I needed a win, Spurs loss and a shift in GD.
This happened....
Which made me think in the previous update I had a leicester save where I won a title in the last gameweek twice overhauling GD.

The German NT doesn't call up any players unless you tinker with the game files.
National Team activated
He just isnt rated even though he is on course for double digit G and A for the 3rd straight season.

Is this guy failing to get any caps/squad call ups a CA/PA issue ? ( I guess its very low due to him being one of my lowest paid 1st teamers and no clubs trying to sign him the entire time Ive been here except a couple mid table teams).
He plays as a CM has been too good for me to drop since a few months into season 1
Even won European Golden Boy which fails to show up on his biography.

Well if that’s the case a choice of difficulty level should be provided. I mean almost every other game in existence has it.
It’s not a difficult game to understand anyway. Yes, it’s a lot of information to take in but if you are a proper football fan then you will catch on pretty quick, and appreciate that you can’t win all the time.
The idea that it now is being catered to those who want an easy ride really annoys me. Right now it feels like playing a shooter game on easy mode and being untouchable.
There is though.
Coaching experience and past playing level completley changes the difficulty of a game.

AI squad building is bad
but
real life teams squad building is also bad

I don’t mind the press conferences. It’s part of the managers job to sit in front of the media and face the same questions over and over again. It is a bit gamey but you can use it to manipulate both your and the opposition morale too.
It’s the player interactions where I have the issue, they trumpeted it as a big improvement this year, and I’m yet to see any difference. Except maybe less of the “I’m ok now you’ve come to talk to me” responses.
basically
the media stuff is boring and repetetive irl
just dont ask me about some back up 34 year old being transfer listed by a mid table club in my divisoin just before the champions league final.
Hate player interactions, so unrealistic.

yep couldnt import my ones from last year even though my save game is from FM23, so remade something similar.

Was enjoying my game from FM23 a lot it was probably the most seasons Ive managed in 1 save, so transfered the file to FM24.
Everything seems very smooth, I was in pre season so got to sell a few players using intermediaries as well as asking the agents to get rid of and thought i got fair value for my players but signing players and AI transfers the fees are huge, 1 player in particular I was planning to sign for £75m after the world cup but now my bids are being negotiated to double that, had a £105m bid rejected which is crazy considering i loaded up FM23 and signed tha player for under £80m inc. add ons.
Im unable to sign a specialist set piece coach as my database doest have one, but thats fine.
My biggest problem so far is that in my first 2 games I have had significant injuries having to use my 3 stoppages for subs because of injred players, which was very rare in previous FMs (even when people complained about injuries on here i did not really suffer). My GK getting injured after a few mins really threw me off as usually I dont even bother with a sub goalkeeper but might now have to have 3 in my squad.
Look forward to starting a new game with the FM24 database but I think ill wait until the first patch.

FM is usualy the secondary to whatever else I am doing wether it be at work or home, only really the begining of pre season/transfer window it has my primary concentration.

Was looking at whats happening in the Premier Leasgue after the january transfer window, when I saw this:
They just drew at home with Bournemouth.
Sacked Ten Hag and replaced him with Lopetegui
and signed Ugarte (£52m) and Loftus Cheek (Loan) in January (I had first window transfers disabled)
think this is interesting
anyone with any similar experience ?

every sibgle player wants to explore options 24-18 months out from when thier contract runs out.

Was going to skip this year as I havent paid attention to any of the release info but FM is such an easy game to have running in the background whilst doing other stuff compared to the full concentration needed by console games.
So started this afternoon, think i prefer the purple to the greyish blue background from FM22, I like that the squad planner is now a main feature as I have been using Squad depth/Team report to plan my squads for years.
Havent noticed any major bugs as of yet, but the match engine did not impress me as much as last seasons but that is probably because FM21 was poor.
The Europa League draw took me by surpirse, really feel thats a nice addition but will prob get bored of it in no time lol
Bulldozing teams right now but that is to be expected on the beta as its always easier i feel.
