EPL Owners
Resources
I still feel like some attention is needed to help have some sort of reasoning behind resources. As it would appear some researchers are going off total wealth available and others are going from how much of that wealth a person would actually use towards the club. From what I remember, depending on the mixture of Ambition and Business would help determine just how much an owner would invest into a club, unsure if that's changed.
A good example of this is Stan Kroenke, while he's a multi-billionare he doesn't invest heavily into Arsenal, so the data on this looks right. His investments are split between different projects, which I feel like is represented well within the data as much as it can be. So, while Shahid Khan is super wealthy, similar to Kroenke his wealth is split between Fulham, an NFL franchise and a wrestling promotion.
While Man U's Glazers data doesn't look correct and should probably be similar to Kroenke. Todd Boehly at Chelsea could be a similar case, he's already looking for extra investment for future transfer budgets, or perhaps the other members of the consortium should have resource information added?
Further on the Glazers, every member of the family has a similar resource rating even though it is a shared wealth. This could lead to issues in longterm games where the Glazers have left Man U and individually takeover different clubs. The game will think they have an individual wealth pool, when in truth they don't. Do they all have equal access to this money or is one member of the famiy the key stakeholder? Or perhaps they all have a different percent of the pot?
Ambition
Wolves' owner should probably have a value added for patience and interference, given the last few years high turnover of managers. Is the Wolves owner also the most ambitious owner in the Premier League?
Based on my understanding that ambition has a deciding factor in how Owners operate in-game, it's a little disappointing to see random seed entries. It's also strange that there's only 1 owner in the entire league that has an ambition less than 10. Are the Glazers ambitious, do they really want to push Man U to the next level towards being the greatest football club? Or are they happy for things to tickalong and treat the club as a business?
I appreciate that successful people are often ambitious and determined, yet I feel these values are perhaps slightly too top heavy? Is John Henry the most ambitous (19) and determined (19) owner in the Premier League?
I've included Mike Ashley for my own comparison, but it might help others understand where I'm coming from too, as that was Mike Ashley's motive.
Does the game use the Judging Staff Ability when Owners hire a manager? If so, there's a lot of '0' random seeds for this.
There's also some strangely high working with youngsters rating dotted amongst owners. Is this a hangover from how the game used to determine if an owner had a philosphy towards producing young players?
Concerning for me that the Everton owners basically got blank for everything going by that screen shot (Will check when i'm home).
No wonder they've not done anything in my 3 year save. We've had zero investment, zero new sponsorship (despite finishing 2nd twice in the premierleague, and are current european champions).
Who is the Everton researcher this year btw?

Thanks for your input @Baines - Branthwaite has certainly had a good start to the season. He was reviewed thoroughly following his season at PSV, and we will be undertaking another in-depth review in January. How is he performing in-game for you (I am guessing that you have been playing FM as Everton manager)?
I will say, at first glance his stats don't look any different to FM23 (but i stand to be corrected!!) - i just remember his acc/pace being at 12 or 13, also his strength. He's an absolute unit. There was an interview with Ben Godfrey who said Branthwaite is also deceptively fast (one of the fastest at the club) - obviously pace not acceleration. He out muscled and out paced Antonio on the weekend against West Ham in a straight race.
At the same time, i think Tarky is underwelming as well - i think the researcher probably has him too quick, but not as strong/aggressive/brave as he should be. He's always the first one in and doesn't shy out of any tackles

Btw my impression is that it is mostly 1-2 types of injuries. Torn wrist first and foremost.
torn wrist, broken arm, broken hand. Pickfords been in the wars lol

same issue - Pickfords been stretchered off in 6 different games now in the same season

Not sure if it is linked, but also an issue with my youth intake.
I'm now on the 16th March, had my intake (and a very good one), however if i go into development centre, it says "list of players in youth intake not available yet"....
I can find the players if i scroll back in my inbox, they are listed as "Everton youth candidates" but i cannot view that squad (only by clicking the player in from the inbox message).
Should i raise a new ticket for this?

That is a lot of goals to concede. I mean Everton did put 5 past them end of last season, but that was a flash result and Brighton didn't go on to get smashed by everyone like above. We win 6-4 in the above.......6-4!!!!

Tom Cannon's looking decent for the U21's at the moment, heard he might be on his way to Fleetwood for some first team games

Thats the spirit @mercut1o, suffering is what we do these days haha!!
Anyway, what a crazy amount of debt we are in........

yeah just i had one of our higher rated (IRL) youth players, he had 1 strength, and a few other 1's in really bad area's which was a shame

Hi @mercut1o, @_mark_efc_ and @evertonmarc.
Firstly I would like to introduce myself as Everton’s assistant researcher. This is a fairly new role to me, I only undertaken this around mid-September time so there was a lot of data I had to analyse in a short space of time so unfortunately some will have slipped through the net and I can only apologise first and foremost.
I’m confident that some of the issues mentioned were prevalent in the early beta and have now been rectified (I found this out the hard way by having multiple Everton saves and searching for bugs - the board expectation one got me the sack to begin with). Some of these were not noticeable on the database from my perspective.
So to reiterate Pete’s comment;
- board expectations were lowered
- previous relationships and past players/staff were altered or removed
- Onana’s language abilities have been upgraded
- Iwobi’s and Obama’s attributes were altered higher whilst Doucoure’s were dropped slightly as I was unhappy with these. To comment on the pace specifically, if I’m correct Onana’s pace is 17, which ranks him quick but his off the mark is far lower than other players. Iwobi ranks fairly upper-middle for the squad which is fair in comparison to players around him. Godfrey/DCL/Vinaigre/Gray being the quickest - players like Onana/Tarkowski have high pace due to their height which sees them have long strides for longer bursts of run as opposed to quicker/off the mark players. I left these unchanged from their Lille/Burnley ratings - I am going to complete a more thorough analysis before the winter update on all first-team players to reflect 2021/22 and first half of 22/23 seasons. Gordon is a standout figure for acceleration and pace as this was noticed after the data lock.
Again, I’m sorry that you encountered so many issues with the first-release but hopefully most were captured for the full-release. Please, if you continue to find any errors with the data of the squad/club in general, contact me and I’ll make a note of these.
All good @shaunfletcher! i'm still in my beta save, will restart a new one soon.
That club debt is crazy though, gonna be a tough one this year lol!!!

Indeed, a lot doesn't look like its changed much. Obviously we had a poor previous season which they take into account. To be fair, players like Coady would have been reviewed by the wolves researcher (and Tarks by the burnley researcher), but there do seem some glaring issues.
But our youth players are abysmal - so many stats set to random

100% - not a massive increase, but certainly something. He's quick and agile, maybe 16 for acc/pace?
We've also got some highly rated youth players IRL but they are all really poor in game - with the amount of 1's i had in several players, i suspect a lot of their stats were left blank - will wait for the editor to check
Obviously our last season wouldn't do any of our players a favour, so a lot of them probably got a CA decrease

good morning!
I'm already passed the event (sacked the loan manager), finally managed to get the player loaned out - i bought Che Nunnely on a free, but no work permit, so wanted to loan out into europe, wasn't bothered with getting any wages paid.
Can you still work from the file, if so i will upload!

EVERTON :
Duncan Ferguson is no longer at the club (but is in game)
Amadou Onana only has "basic grasp" of english, when in reality his english is excellent! (there are interviews on youtube)
Conor Coadys agreed clause is apparently £4m not £7m as in game (although i can't remember where i saw that or if it was 100% accurate, so maybe ignore this for the time being!)
