Love this game - been playing since Champ 92/93 on the Amiga. Transitioned to console version from PC few years back. But gosh who made this decision... seriously? Hard to imagine how someone thought this would be a good QOL/User Experience feature? Yes, can work around it, but others have mentioned, who wants to have likely 40/50/60+ players to scroll through in their 1st team squad players list... just to accommodate this feature? Its a little more awkward using controller than mouse/keyboard as it is. Come on guys this has to be reverted ASAP, otherwise most definitely for FM25 :)

Hi, Is unlimited scouting 'addon' working OK, or not for others this year? My understanding is you need to sign 5 wonderkids to get it added to the store. So I've signed 5 wonderkids, and it's not showing. No popup either to tell me it's been 'achieved'. Im on xbox sx. Cheers.

Yes you can. Or at least as 'top target' which then gets broadcasted in news, in some way clubs do to our players and the player reacts as 'flattered', 'doesn't care' etc. You can unsettle the player, particularly if you also bid and club refuses. He can get annoyed/upset, depending on personality type, level of interest in your club. It helped with me signing ward prowse from saints to bmouth, as he was listed as not for sale, but he eventually became upset and his status changed from not for sale.still had to pay over the odds, but it did help Me engineer a previously unlikely deal as saints didn't want to sell to a 'rival' prior to it. Started the process in a January window and him signed by end of it...

Yep as most players are pc, particularly the master tacticians, they're tested on pc. I used them last year on xbox and appeared just as effective. The match engine is the same, so you can safely copy them. There are some decent tactics already published, even though its early days. Not sure if I can mention the sites on here, but if you Google fm23 tactics, the big 3 sites where the master tacticians dwell come back. As you probably know, you can't download/import them like on pc, but only takes a few mins to manually setup...

Temptation to raid Salzburg and the usual/same great value overseas players from previous versions and regen South americans sometimes too much to ignore... self control I know, but implementing something like this would make the game more Intersting and probably enjoyable to me. Like yiu say, it was the boards decision...

Hi all, Not particularly realistic I guess, but I'm toying with the idea of doing Bilbao type save for my team Afc Bournemouth. Which may mean I'm only allowed to sign English only players, although my widen that to the other British/UK nations. So I have my eye on youngsters like Edwards, delay, soonsup bell and a few at Norwich and Bristol City. Concern is, that 5 to 10 years in, will there may not be a decent enough pool of regens available to keep me somewhat, competitive... as in cl position finishes (hopefully). Let me know what you think and if there are any potential issues/concerns I need to consider. Only thing I can think of is regen issue, has haven't really paid close attention to nationalities in previous games. Cheers
