Easy really depends. If you are a high reputation manager I guess its kind of easy. But if you start at a lower reputation you will have a player mutiny every other week. Player A thinks there is bad cover on centre back (even though you have 10). And 12 other players join in and everything goes to !£$€. Moral is so important in FM24 and unless you have Klopp / Guardiola like reputation one little misstep can derail the entire season.

Really? In FM23 it only took about 2 months 8-10 games or so if they played together. Saliba and Gabriel have 38 and 36 games. Most of them together as I change both centre halfs when I need to rest one of them.
Guess I just have to wait. Thought it might be bugged. Or that there might be some option I had to tick in 24 to see them.0 -
Its april 17th, 3 games left in the season and still not a single partnership line has showed up. I haven't seen one all season.
What am I missing. I see them for opposition team in opposition report0 -
I started a new game yesterday and saw lots of goals and shady goalkeeping. Then today I imported my FM23 game and scores are 1-0, 0-0 and 1-1 in the 3 matches I have played.
Goalkeepers have been living walls with Jedi reflexes. Might be coincidence or there is something in the database with GK's in FM24.
Another thing I noticed with the imported game was Set piece coaching. There was no coach with over 14 in set piece coaching, and only one with 14, five with 13. In the entire gameworld0 -
I noticed something when I imported my FM23 game. There was no coaches in the game with set piece coaching 15 or more.
There was one coach with 14, 5 coaches with 13, 10 coaches with 12. I guess it generates a number when you import and it generates low.0 -

Is everyone finding the game too easy?
Finding I do great against good teams like Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham. Then lose to Brentford, Wolves and the likes.
But only bought the game last night, so haven't had time to play much.0 -

I do wonder how many times in real life when the manager gets a report about a player training really well, he has to check his praise spreadsheet to ensure that the player is not going to kick off at being praised too often or whatever
So is that back? It was in FM22, never saw it in 21 or 23.

Yeah, valuation is really high in FM24. 30 year old Tomas Partey was valued £72-94m and Chelsea was interested. Saw a bunch of players valued £200m+

The ME is a bit choppy at times. I had to lower graphics and I have a pretty powerful pc with 4080 card. hoping the one next year with the new engine is smoother. Do like the look of the ME though.
Thats strange. I only have a 1080 and it ran flawless for me.

I have started leaving everything media to the ass man. Even the halftime and post match player comments. Its such a timesink and not enjoyable at all.

You can use both formations, not sure what the OP is getting at tbh
But the game will be spamming you with messages of "you need to close the gap between defence and midfield" if you play with 2 CM's like we did in FM2022.

Why does it say you made a profit of €2.4B?
If you indeed bankrupted them0 -
Looks like its going downhill for me
2019: 1696H
2020: 982H
2021: 570H
2022: 433HI peaked in FM 2015 with 1975H

Yeah I try to decrease their roles too. But like you say it doesn't always work.

Thanks for the nudge, Herne79. Out of the matches available, how many matches has he started?
An Important Player would be looking at about 75-80% of starts.
But when I play games almost every 3 days. I have no chance to give any player 80% of starts. I have this problem with Jesus at Arsenal. Granted he is star player.
I have to keep starting him and take him off at half time so he'll be able to start the next match. Coz when he played roughly 75% of games he was concerned about his playing time.
He didn't come to me and complain. But under happiness tab he is concerned about his playing time.0 -
I have large DB with lots of league on a weaker computer than you. And it simulates very fast for me
i7-8700k
16 GB RAM
1TB SSD-M2 for OS
3x 1TB SSD for games and apps.1 -
I'm so much looking forward to 5 subs in Premier league. Will it only be in the first season?
Is it only this season IRL coz of when the world cup is?0 -
Just a shot in the dark. Are you sure that custom db was created from the same DB version?
Like if it was created from 22.1.0 database and you have 22.4 database. Then I guess it wouldn't be available.
Does it show up if you pick the release database?0 -

Current Ability & Potential Ability (CA, PA): Range 1-200
Attributes: Range 1-20
CA is the sum of all attributes. Not all attributes having the same weighting for each position; some of them having 0 weighting which means is a cost free for CA.
Increasing Acceleration (ST or AMRL position) from 9 to 10 will be easier from increasing 15 to 16.
The exact formula will remain hidden for obvious reasons from SI.
====
Slight arrows down or up it's just a re-calculation / re-balancing of CA. Decimal numbers must be "under-the-hood" thing, but visual to you as far I can understand. 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.2, 12.1 must be some factors like rest PA, training facilities, ambition, professionalism, determination etc etc. Things is being connected each other and how exactly is being calculated, as I said, must be remain hidden from public.
Attributes are displayed 1-20 , but the actual numbers behind the scenes are -127 to +127. Thats why you can see a player has improved in an attribute but still display ie: 13.
Atleast they used -127 to +127 some years ago. I think they still do.
Like condition is displayed 1-100 (but behind the scenes its 1-10000)1 -
Do you know if it will be in FM23 then?
Ask Paul C0 -
From my understanding it has to do with being registered or not.
William Saliba is another interesting example. The France international, born in Paris, counts as a homegrown player because he has been on Arsenal’s books and listed in their Premier League squad for three seasons before his 21st birthday.
Explained: How the Premier League’s homegrown rule is impacting your club’s transfers - The Athletic0 -
I read at the start of last season that they registered him despite loaning him out to get him homegrown status. And now this:
"Arsenal will have space to sign two top players from Europe that have not played in England thanks to William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli. The two youngsters will be registered as homegrown next season, which will give the Gunners a major boost. This means that both players will be considered as homegrown due to them being registered in three squads before turning 21-years-old".

Same procedure as last year, same procedure as every year.
Pre-order as soon as it shows up on steam.
Been hooked on this series since CM 93.0 -
Will you add this to FM23?
I read Arsenal had Saliba registered in their squad even though he's been out on loan in France. So he will quallify as home grown this season despite being loaned out for years.
This is not possible in FM unless I've missed something. It will be a very nice feature as there are many players I'd like to both loan out at age 18-21 , but would also like to get HG status on0
I am struggling, a moan and a plea.

Pretty sure there were. They just don't release any update notes when going from early access to full release since the full realease is considered "1.0"
