I've added a save from before the offer to sign was made (buffon save.fm) To repro: Approach Buffon to sign as a player When the deal is confirmed either wait until the transfer window opens again - the deal won't go ahead - or keep checking in transfer centre and after a week or two the deal disappears -
I agreed a deal to sign Gianluigi Buffon as a player at the end of his contract. While waiting for the contract to end I noticed that the deal had disappeared from the transfer centre and when I investigated further I found he was now an unattached manager. I didn't get any news about this happening.
