  1. Hahaha thanks dude. For a lot of the names, I literally just punched things into google translate until a cool name came out. Pretty sure Poisson means fish in French lmao
  2. Hey man, just an FYI, looks like your graphics got a bit messed up after the update. Specifically the League Logos
  3. All the lore is on a notes app on my phone haha. I can answer any specific questions you have though!!!! There is quite a lot of background to every nation and city lol
  4. Awesome, thanks for the help! Hopefully you guys can figure it out
  5. Same here for me, all players lost all home grown status upon update. I am using a pretty heavily edited fictional database, but after looking at my test files this wasn't an issue before the update, so its not my database causing the problem. I can upload league files if needed!
  6. Hello! This database contains 6 nations, 244 teams, 30 domestic leagues and 32 separate cup competitions all self contained in a fictional world called "Conitum". Every club (except the College Clubs), competition and national team has custom logos. The database also includes things like rivalries and stadiums for every club. All players playing for clubs in this world HAVE to be from one of the 6 fictional countries due to registration rules, no IRL players mucking up the fictional world! This database works in both FM23 and 24 and I will post files for both (graphics DO NOT work for FM24, so I would highly recommend starting in FM23 and porting the save over to FM24 if you are able, they work fine if you do that). This entire project is based off of a Minecraft server my friends and I played on about a decade ago, and is basically a port over from the same kind of save in Out of the Park Baseball, which is the baseball version of FM (hence some logos having baseball bats and that sort of thing). From playing this database in the past, it is a very unique FM experience due to its smaller nature (no running to South America for your daily wonderkid here) and 100% fictional status. The history is yours to make! GRAPHICS: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0d014psr5hmvxkx/CONITUM_GRAPHICS.zip/file FM23 FILES: https://www.mediafire.com/file/482rqzd97g3vnvi/FM23_FILES.zip/file FM24 FILES: https://www.mediafire.com/file/qvtvg7yrlimvm4t/FM24_FILES.zip/file Conitum is split into 6 different league systems. They are all setup mostly the same, with 4 or 5 levels of 8 teams each. Teams play each other 4 times. The non-first divisions then split and play each group team 1 more time for a total of 31 games (28 for the first divisions to accommodate for Continental Competitions). Each league system has a National Cup that runs as a straight knockout, FA Cup style. There are also "League Cups" for every league that run during back to back to back weeks in July for top level clubs, or throughout the season for lower level clubs. Top and Bottom teams get promoted and relegated from each league, with a cross league playoff for teams finishing 7th (from the upper level) an 2nd (from the lower level). The main goal of this database was to create a system where you can easily familiarize yourself with the entirety of your league and Conitum, as well as to limit total games in order to get through seasons faster. With 8 team leagues, and up to 5 games a year against the same teams, it is very easy to get to know other teams and players and really helps to build the narrative of a save. The bottom level of all 6 nations contains College Leagues. These are 2 separate leagues under a parent league that have a playoff every year. These teams cannot be promoted (nor can clubs a league up be relegated into them) and have very strict roster rules (only 5 players other the age of 23 can be registered to give them their college feel). These clubs DO compete in national cups though. They also have their own League Cup competition. These college clubs are essentially loan farms for the fully pro teams, as one thing I have found with this database is the lack of clubs makes player development a little difficult. There are also 2 continental competitions to strive for! The top 2 teams from each league qualify for the Peace League, which is for the best of the best. 12 teams enter into a single table and play each other team once for a total of 11 games. The top 4 move on to a 2 legged Semi-Final, with the Final being played the last Saturday of the year at the Cornerstone Metropark in Cornerstone, KD. The Imperial League draws teams who finished 3rd through 6th from each top level league and splits them into 2 groups of 12. Same format as the Peace League, but with a 1 game Quarter-Final leg thrown in. The Final then takes place the Friday before the Peace League final at King Douglas Grounds in Mons, Kingdom of Monsonia. There is also a "World Cup", called the Conitum Nations Cup!!! Due to the lack of International play throughout the year, the Nations Cup takes place every single season in February (this database runs a March-November Schedule). All 6 nations are thrown into a single table, where they play each other twice for 10 games. There is then a single legged semi-final and final. There are 6 nations in Conitum, with each being very roughly based off an IRL nation. Team and League names are somewhat analogous to how clubs are named in that nation in real life (its called SOCCER in the Frontier and Old Districts!) The nations are: The Second Commonwealth of Notre (based on Latin America), and Frontier Districts (Western US), Old Districts (Eastern US), Kingdom of Monsonia (UK), Peoples Republic of Poisson (France), and Templon Confederacy (Hungary). A few things to note. If your manager nationality is not one of the 6 fictional nations, you will generate youth products that are not of fictional nationality. These players cannot be registered for anything and are completely useless, so I would recommend changing your nationality and not signing those youth players (as far as I know this is the only way a non-fictional player gets into a fictional club). Only load in the 8 Conitum files when starting a save as loading anything else will be pointless, you cant sign IRL players anyway. Because I didn't spend the 4 years it would have required to fill each club with custom players, the game generates them on start (make sure you have generate players checked). This makes the first 5 or so years of a save a little wonky, as FM does not do a good job at populated leagues with no players on start. Basically, it is incredibly easy to build a super team from the get go. There are a few ways to get around this. The best way is to load up everything and sim 10 years before picking a club, this gets most of the weird stuff out of the way. The other option if you wanted to start right away is either handicap yourself for the first few years (by not signing players or only signing as many players as you let go) or by starting in the College Leagues. A journeyman save starting in a college league for the first few seasons is absolutely the best way to pay this save imo. This save has a TON of lore built into it, so if anybody has any questions at all about the FM database itself, or the lore about the world of Conitum, let me know! I've thrown some pictures in as well!
  7. Huh I figured it was the same bug from last year, you're correct on the date too (late May). I am playing in D9 right now.... Are you confident its Level 7 and below? With the way your database is set up, I would honestly just not load level 8 through 10 and cancel Relegation from USL League 2 down, because those are Amateur Leagues. Wouldn't really mess with my immersion too much.
  8. Hey dude, fantastic database, I'm having lots of fun with it so far! I did run into a crashing issue on May 24th of my first season, only way around it was to resign my post, sim a day, then rejoin the team. Is this something you have ran into in the past? Hopefully it was just a one time thing.
