  1. Tokyo Musashino United FC Season 3| 2026 Meiji-Yasuda J.League Division Three League: So lets get it out right off the bat, we did in fact get promoted to the 2nd division by way of the playoffs. Prior to the start we lost Shiga due to the board being blinded by the Money, wasn't ideal but we move. Started great and by Mid Season we were definitely in the playoffs race, maybe even the race for promotion if things somehow went even more our way. As time went on and we approached the Final Run in we had managed to squeak ourselves in to playoffs and were really just looking to hang on till the end, we had injuries to a couple of main players and our form started to slip however in a fortunate turn of events we got Rihito Yoshihama in our intake who came in and turned our fortunes around just enough to make the difference. XG Table - Our expected position was actually the same as our last two seasons but we just seemed to overperform this year although surprisingly Sagamihara was actually the bigger overachiever right behind us who also finished in playoffs. The first playoff match ended in a Draw with us advancing due to being the higher seed, it was beyond close but a 90th minute equaliser from Riki Iida was the decisive goal. The playoff Final was a game we actually deserved to win, with the winning goal fittingly coming from Yoshihama to cap off what was an excellent run of form to get us promoted. J.League Cup: Close games against Fukushima United but ultimately we still fell at the first hurdle here. Emperors Cup: Got knocked out second round once again unfortunately. Facilities: Managed to get not one, not two but three upgrades to both junior coaching and youth recruitment. We also have rented a new Stadium for next season in order to meet requirements. Finance: Looking healthy this year, thanks in part to the selling of an important player. (And not getting a training facility upgrade) Transfers: Shiga was sold but aside from that no other outs. Squad: This season our forwards started to really take a dip in quality, which can be seen in their goal tally's, the absence of Shiga has also not helped matters for them, we definitely had a lot of luck go our way this season as our first 11 really got worse on paper. Kikuchi did an admirable job of taking over Shiga's spot and the younger players provided us with a bit of depth we didn't really have before, Iida in particular was a starter from start to end of the season. Yoshihama only played 7 games but showed his quality across them all with 3 of his goals being game winners. Manager - End of Season: Got a Continental C course but it won't be finished till next year, coming along nicely though. Youth Intake: The Preview assured me this would be our best intake yet with quality across the board, come October the HOYD would be proven right. With the worst players being at least top talents and us having a large amount of elite talents it was looking fantastic and of course my eyes were immediately drawn to the 5 star player... 2nd Part of Intake Rihito Yoshihama Y26A - Absolutely ecstatic, I've never had a youth player come through this good especially when relative to the team that produced him. I'll likely be giving him up to some big team sooner rather than later but I am going to enjoy watching this kid play for us. Cherry on the top is a good personality and a penchant for consistency. Went straight into the 1st team and contributed massively. Ryo Kondo Y26B - Any other year Ryo would likely be the star boy of this intake, nicely rounded stats for a DLP and a fairly professional outlook that gives him a greater chance of reaching his potential. Unfortunately he is in the same intake as Yoshihama. Tatsuyuki Tada Y26C - Almost first team ready and an emphasis on non nonsense defending, I like Tada a fair bit injury proneness might stall his progress. 2. Just wanna double check, I'm assuming getting a loan back on a player you've sold is off limits?
  3. Tokyo Musashino United FC Season 2| 2025 Meiji-Yasuda J.League Division Three League: For the second successive season we've ended up 10th in the league, I thought we might have had a shot at the playoffs 2/3rds through the season but our form fell off a cliff in the final run in and we only managed 7 points from our final 10 games. Once again Koji Ishihara was our best performer but he is starting to decline and if we don't manage to get promoted soon we may be waiting a while for the younger players to be in a position to make it happen. XG TABLE J.League Cup: Much like the league we repeated our results in the cup, getting knocked out in the second round. Not much we can do when we're up against a first division side over two legs. Facilities: I made a lot of requests this year and the board were very receptive. First off the board asked if I wanted to improve Youth Coaching and I of course agreed. I then got an upgrade on my Training Facilities but given the cost in retrospect that might not have been the best idea. Youth Coaching was once again improved in August and after asking most of the year Youth Recruitment got bumped up in October. - Facilities Start of Season Finance: A sponsorship deal signed mid season helped keep us in the green but only barely, looking at it I am definitely starting to regret asking for the training facilities upgrade. Transfers: None yet, may look to loan some players next season. Squad: As last season, Ishihara and Oguchi continue to bring the goals for us. Komasu Shiga has continued to develop and looks to have quite a high ceiling (comparably), I've had to start batting offers away for him but he is tied down for awhile yet. I'm planning on changing system next season to a 4-3-3 to make better use of my academy players and hopefully be a bit more solid, will require a couple of first teamers to learn a new position but I think its for the best. Manager - End of Season: Got the National B course and managed to almost immediately get the board to give me the National A course, long may their generosity continue. Youth Intake: My Preview this year gave me cause to hope as it looked at the very least we'd have some decent wingers and a much needed to prospect in the DM position. Come November thankfully my HOYD hadn't got it awfully wrong, it was a strong set of players that definitely helped assuage my concerns about the declining first team. - 2nd Half of Intake Riki Iida Y25A - Iida was labelled as the star of this generation and I have to say I'm very please with him. He has that professionalism that will hopefully ensure he makes good on his potential and aside from that he is a very accomplished tackler. I'll likely start using him in the first team immediately as we genuinely need the depth. His consistency is also a plus. Hiroyuki Ono Y25B - I wasn't expecting a good striker so was pleasantly surprised by Ono coming through. He looks more like a poacher at the minute but I believe he'll grow into a more than competent advanced forward with time. Tatsuhiro Murata Y25C - Murata isn't far off being first team ready and will be much needed when he is as LB is a position of weakness for us. His high consistency might tempt me to use him a bit earlier. Kiyoshi Ichiyanagi Y25D - Sort of bottled it when I screen capped his page but I think you can tell the most important part of Ichi's game...PACE. I'll look to bring him into the first team fold sooner rather than later as his physicality will immediately make him useful to me off the bench. Tomonobou Hatao Y25E - Bottled it again with the screen cap but nevertheless I like Hatao quite a bit, he's got some nice jumping reach and can reliably win the ball off of players. Next season he will for sure be getting first team football. 4. Tokyo Musashino United FC Season 1| 2024 Meiji-Yasuda J.League Division Three League: The season preview had us finishing 20th at odds of 350-1 to win the league, on the final day we managed to find ourselves in 10th position, slap bang in the middle of the table. The start of the season looked promising and we got off to a good start with our results essentially rotating between a win, a loss and a draw. This continued until about June where we sustained a rather poor run of form in the league, losing 8 out of nine. Results stabilised towards the end of August with three draw which was then followed by a fantastic run where we won 6 in 7. The season ended with us being in very average form. I wasn't able to get the XG table to show at the end of the season but I will say that when I last checked on the 36th match we were predicted to finish 11th so not bad. What let us down was mainly our lack of squad depth which left us with a lot of games were our players were only half fit. As an aside, a club takeover occurred and the new owner invested a whopping 22K, what a hero. J.League Cup: We didn't manage to far in this competition and got knocked out in the second round by FC Osaka over two legs, probably for the best as there is no way my squad could take the added games as it was. Emperors Cup: Much like the J.League Cup we didn't go far in the Emperor's Cup either, after squeaking through on pens against Numazu we got dismantled by Yokohama FC. Transfers: No transfers to speak of. Squad: This season I relied heavily on my strikers to do the job to get us results, we played a very basic 4-4-2 and essentially played on the counter all season with little tweaks made depending on my opponent. Ishihara and Oguchi made out like bandits with each having over 30 G+A and Goto backing them up with an impressive 14 from the DM position. Going forward I am going to need the academy to drum up replacements for them as they are 32, 29 and 32 respectively. Ishihara might stay useful for awhile yet with his 17 Natural fitness but the clock is still ticking. On a positive note we have two 19 year old legacy players in Kosei Kumagamai and Komasa Shiga who should be able to bridge that gap with their potential. Finances: Finances have taken a slight dip due to improvements to 1 stage improvements to our youth facilities, youth coaching and youth recruitment but they are of course still largely healthy. Youth Intake: The HOYD described in my preview that we had an 'excellent intake' but I found it hard to agree when looking at the letter gradings. Come November and I didn't even get an email until the intake had been evaluated. Intake in full... 1 2. I'm not going to sit here and act like I'm excited about the whole group but at least we actually have some newgens to develop now. Every single player was signed. Hajime Iwasawa Y24A - Hajime would have been an undeniable hit if not for the fact that he has quite a bad personality, at least I'm pretty sure its bad. He has a nice all around base of technical and mental stats and will be getting trained as an AP. Katsuhiko Uchimura Y24B - I was rather pleased to see Uchimura come through as I didn't want to end up in a situation where I didn't have a decent youth GK, hes also got a good personality too so I can probably expect him to reach his potential. Kiyoshi Sadatomi Y24C - Kiyoshi also has a fairly professional personality and seems like he will be a great tackler once he develops with that tackling, aggression and bravery. Shame about his aerial game. Kimiyasu Kusumi Y24D - Kusumi has a similar profile to Hajime but of course is less talented, I'll likely train him as a DLP as his stat profile lends itself quite well to that role. He is unambitious but hey what are you gonna do. Kojiro Matsushima Y24E - Kojiro's 14 work rate and 16 teamwork stuck out to me, combined with an okay physical spread I think I might get some decent use out of him as long as he develops okay, could do without him being fickle but clearly I wasn't getting much luck this intake. Manager: Was only able to get the board to agree to one coaching course towards the tail end of the season so haven't got much more stats than where we started, hopefully they'll be a little bit more lenient next season. Plans for Next Season: As far as next season is concerned the main aim is to integrate the younger players and get them closer to first team level, I think I could perhaps squeak into the playoffs next year with a bit of luck but honestly if were to get promoted I can only see us going straight back down, hopefully I'll get luckier with the intake and we can really get the ball rolling. Newgen Faces - Finally, I've made an album with all the faces I generated for my first youth intake should anyone else want to use them.
  5. Hey there, pretty much made an account for the purpose of also getting involved with this challenge as it seems like good craic. I'm playing in Japan and have joined Tokyo Musashino United FC, don't think I've made an error in setting the save up but do tell me if I'm talking out my arse. Bit concerning that I have no youth recruitment or coaching but I suppose I'll just have to beg enough for it to get added.
