Hey guys, my first post here, and i wanted to get some advice on some things. Currently i want to play a back three giving full freedom to my wing-backs (they're pretty good both physically and technically and i have a lot of cbs)
I'm managing a underdog (a mid table team with some good players actually) and im having some difficulty creating chances, having efficient possession and doing good counter attacks. In away games i want to attack like a Conte side; while at home or against weaker teams i wanna have the control of the game and creating actual good chances. Most of my chances are long passes and as much those are great when they hit the spot, i don't really wanna depend on them every single time...
Anyway my TI's on away games where i wanna be a reactive side and kill it using counter attacks using a 3-5-2/3-5-1-1 is a Balanced mentality, Pass into space, higher tempo, counter, distribute quickly, mid block, higher defensive line, more often and drop off more. Usually i use the trigger press to make the attacking duo press.
Roles are the standard scorer and creator strikers, Mezz/APa, CMs with aggressive tackling, a DM/DLPs, a CDc and WCBs with dribble more. The WBS are the one at the mezz side Support, and the other on the scorer side in Attack with take more risks. Am i doing something wrong? And which ti's use to start being a consistently decent side at home?
