0 "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
  1. Signed a new RB, Trai Hume, after being promoted into the Premier League. The current RB, Luca Hoole, who had been at the club for years as a "squad player" and was generally playing enough to be treated as a "regular starter" in game is upset that his playing time "squad" will be effected. I promised that I would not be changing his (Hoole) currently agreed playing time, as I still intend to start him in Cups and give him minutes from the bench as he is only 23 years old and is one of my few home grown at club players. About 10 minutes later in game, I get an email saying Hoole is now upset about a broken promise, despite not even advancing a single day. Hume, the new RB, is listed as a regular starter, so I see no reason why they both can't get reasonable minutes throughout the season, which I have done over the last couple seasons, mostly with my midfielders, with no real issues. It is worth noting that I am on Hoole's favoured personnel list, and that prior to this "broken promise" he had supported me as manager in the dynamics page.
  2. Have this exact same issue too. Re-signed my CM, who wanted a promise to play as a BBM. I obliged since he had been playing in that role for 2 years at that point. After his contract renewal he played all but one match in that role, with the only exception being a substitute appearance has a SS. After being promoted in back to back years (despite being relegation favourites), he is now upset. Worth noting, I am on his favoured personal list, which seems to be helping somewhat as he hasn't tried to force a move out yet.
