  1. I tend to play either a deep lying mid support paired with a ball winner mid support or a central mid support, so I do occasionally use a BWM Agree guaranteed yellow card magnet but that's just something you have to accept. You also need to bare in mind that BWM's won't really hold position as they are chasing the ball down, so can leave a gap in the midfield - so no good paring then with a roaming playmaker as they'll both bugger off and leave you wide open. They can be useful though - as a real life example consider the difference at Derby since Adams came in compared to Bird or Hourihane who I guess would be considered defensive deep laying playmakers. Never bother with a defensive BWM, if you want a defensive mid then do central mid Def or play an anchor man.
  2. As I went to see Viking v Rosenborg in December (Viking 1- 5 Rosenborg for those interested) and I brought you back a Viking hat and scarf, I think you should apply. If you get an interview you could wear them both to it
  3. Thoughts are, don't register the young players, you can play them in the cup unregistered and see if they are worth it, plus you can always add them in later when injuries or bad form hit or you sell the transfer listed ones in the summer window. Also, not sure if you have or not, only register 2 keepers, you can then swap it around last min if one is unavailable
  4. Julian Faye lund. Markus Nakkim and Johan bakke are absolute must buys. Elias Mylid and Rasmus weisterhiem-paul are also really good
  5. There's always loads of good players available in Norway on a free at the end of each season so I'd wait to see who is available before planning on who stays.
  6. Just an educated guess, but suspect it's to do with the inbox filters/topic following your 'personal assistant' sets for you. When unemployed they come up, when employed I don't think they do (though you'll see them in the news section sometimes) I just add available jobs as one of the sections of the home page (normally instead of financial as that doesn't change enough to need to see it every single time)
  7. I'd play Frøsya. He may want to leave but he is still one of the best RBs in Norwegian game in my view. Might as well use him till someone comes in for him
  8. The only information I can find online about being called Odd is that they are named after a character from a novel about an athlete called Odd. Wikipedia however does have the "citation needed" note next to that but I can't find anything elsewhere relating to it. They were originally just Odd, then in the 90's changed to Odd Grenland as Grenland is the district of Telemark they are in (Telemark being the equivalent of a county), but dropped it about 10 years later saying they wanted to represent all Telemark.
  9. My registration tactic is normally along the lines of: 2x GK 4x full backs 5x central Def 5 x central mid 5 x wingers 2 x strikers Leaving a couple of spaces left over for some sort of cb/FB or winger/attack mid utility players. I find I never have enough wingers. Players who play in multiple positions or sides are gold dust, sign them up - Norway seems to have quite a few center mid/full backs which is great. 3rd choice keeper is then one of the additional 5 that can be registered on a youth contract, along with whoever you have in the youth team who will be useful. Don't get too hung up on the squad registration, when you first have to do it you will second guess yourself but after a couple of seasons with it, it becomes natural - I actually find it useful to help me plan my squad overhaul rather than standard FM player transfer binge on deadline day!
  10. Frøsya as a full back rather than a center back (but can cover CB if needed) 😊
  11. Fyllingsdalen is also in Bergen (13min drive between them and Loddefjord) so no doubt he's playing to the crowd there 😁
  12. You achieved their highest ever league position so you should. That surely makes you a Loddefjord legend! The "what you've learnt" seems fine to me, mid-table next season?
  13. Points-wise you like similar to where I was after 6/7 games, don't forget you had a very short preseason by the time you came in and brought in a huge number of new players so none of them know how to play together/ the system, are amateur so aren't training much anyway and you are expected to finish bottom anyway It'll come together! You just need to settle on a system. After 8 or so games I stopped tweaking and we got more consistent 😊
