I am managing as LOSC Lille in a save that's been imported from FM23.
For Mentoring reasons, I have promoted some youngsters who are not ready for first-team football, and in order for them to continue playing matches and continue developing, I have made them available for their respective youth teams for 90 minutes.
However I started noticing that NONE of those players were actually playing matches, and following a short investigation I have discovered that tey're supposedly counting as "ineligible due to being involved in another match in the same day". The issue is: They're not supposed to be involved in any other matches, only youth team matches.
They're not in any match squads aside from their youth team's, and this ineligible status only shows up on the day of the match, when the game creates shadow players to replace them for no apparent reason.
This has been an issue since FM23, please investigate ASAP as it severely harms player development due to a lack of game time.
Step by Step to reproduce the issue:
1. Promote any youth team players to the 1st team (Lille 2 or Lille U19s)
2. Make them available for their respective youth team for 90 minutes
3. Check their status on youth matchdays.
