  1. This season went excellent! Promoted again and unbeaten, meaning we have lost just one competitive game in two seasons! New youth intake is very good and all signed up, finances moving in the right direction, all looking good. I'm going to remove level 20, obviously the game is running super slow , every little helps and we will be at level 18 next season.
  2. Been away with no internet but got first half of next season done : Only 11 teams in the league, so looking good over halfway through Keep losing players to higher level clubs so I'm basically down tpacademy players and handing contracts to greys if I don't have anyone to fill positions!
  3. South and Central Norfolk division 3 here we come! Some great results in pre season
  4. Season 2 all of my experienced players retired and my best performing young lads were poached by teams at a higher level, so this is how I will be lining up for season 23/24after giving some academy players a chance
  5. Season 1 mission accomplished! The run in : the final table: Luke Chadwick and Anthony Robinson of course performed well, with Robinson scoring 26 in 23 games! But both will be 42 I think by the start of next season if they don't retire completely and I'm hoping to see youngsters start to challenge. promising performances also from Hannu Krause (left wing) and Ergis Shala (CD) Now that my youth candidates have been signed up, albeit to amateur contracts, I'm going to design a spreadsheet to track key stats and see how they develop. the history parade was something to behold..... We all got the bus back from Belton and Ethan had a lock in at the Charles III the club is a few thousand in the red, probably travel costs combined with low attendance , our largest home attendance was 30
  6. Stand by for imaginary Premier league glory in at least 20 seasons !
  7. Youth intake contains 2 elite prospects and 16 top prospects! I offered all contracts, amateur can be hard to retain players so fingers crossed.
  8. January and Feb were quiet for fixtures and my team suffered from loss of match fitness, I squeezed in a friendly against higher level opposition to get back on track. Table
  9. Youth intake preview arrived, looks quite promising December was a less busy month but my boys didn't let up despite a few minor injuries ! Increasingly looking like a case of how quickly we can wrap this up (fingers crossed) After thrashing second placed Necton 6-1
  10. November results: November table Halfway there and still unbeaten! I know have akurang on board as player- coach , and a physio
  11. October : Great month, the goals were shared more throughout the team. The key period was beating Narborough to go top ahead of viking reserves, then beating viking reserves to extend the lead, then beating second place colkirk tin our most competitive win this season! October table:
  12. September results: Two wins out of 3, and six goals for Robinson! Great start
  13. I wonder how the season tickets are selling. Ethan, how are the season tickets selling? Oh. Anyway, heres the team I have cobbled together. Mainly local vagabonds, with some ex pros and lads let go by academies. My two aces are Chadwick, and Anthony Robinson who despite being from Birmingham has a cap for Barbados! He's a true non league journeyman and I hope despite being 41 that he grabs us a few goals. I've just signed up a first eleven for starters, I'm going to hand out as few contracts as possible , wait for the youth intake and make this an academy save.
  14. So my initial recruitment strategy involved starting a Facebook page for the team and putting an advert out for any aspiring, or former footballers to apply for a trial This resulted in us having a group of "players" available for our first friendly, against kings cliffe The pre match prediction was that we would have no chance, this team play in the Peterborough and district league, which is apparently a much better standard. They beat us 3-0, but to be honest we had a lot of shots and it could have been worse. Second friendly is against Oakham, presumably where the brewery is. 1-1 Paddy Hegarty impresses on the wing and is offered a contract . Then I get a bizarre message through the Facebook page. "alright mate it's luke chadwick, I've retired to area and I'm happy to come down and have a run about if you fancy it?" I do a double take and check and this is indeed Luke Chadwick, who started his career at man utd. Last seen playing for Soham in the Isthmian league but still, I bite his hand off . Friendly Vs kirton. 40 year old Chadwick starts on the right side and immediately begins cutting inside and skinning defenders, nice. My ragtag bunch of trialists has grown and most have now been offered contracts along with local youth paddy Hegarty 1-1 decent performance again Friendly Vs ruarden hill U21 Glamorous opposition here, I'm struggling to get trialists to come in some I raid the nearest college team and give some of their team an opportunity 1-0 win! Several of the students and some more trialists offered contracts, let's see what I can cobble together for the league!
