Back again for a bit more advice. I'm doing the challenge in Germany, and just got overly lucky in the 25/26 season with a playoff win for promotion to the Bundesliga. Now as 800-1 shots at winning the league it's going to be a rough season. I've been using a solid 5-2-2-1 formation that has served well, but now my aging wing-backs and slow lumps of CD are going to get destroyed. I was wondering if you guys change formations most seasons based on what players are coming through the youth rank? I have a lovely striker and a couple of cute midfielders but nothing of the top German league level. Would chucking all the good youths into the 1st team and hoping not to get the sack on relegation be the way forward?

Oh quick off topic question, any ideas how to stop clubs poaching youth prospects? I've had 2 poached this season. Or where I can see them?

I think my Head of Youth Dev likes his central attackers! 3 3 strikers and 3 AM. Fingers crossed they are good ones, and it's not A due to the number
