What youve create what rock solid! For long runner like me: There is what you should consider to change( or not, I know its not easy to adapt everything): I would change the MLS format, to make like standard format ( no salary cap). No MLS academy became good player. I checked their national team. No one is from MLS academy, and few were from other team from USA. MLS become kind of bad on long run because they cant develop because of the limited salary cap. They won the Concacaf champions league only 1 time and it was on 2026. USA is a small detail, I dont expect you to change something there. The non MLS team was a really good way to grow the CPL level. We can sign these player for free. It was the most easy way to find free good player at the begining, so its still a nice thing. About the USA, I know I already mention it, but a Leagues Cup with MLS/LigaMX and CPL should spice things up, and maybe long term help CPL to better compared themselve. A 64 format in around June/July/August would be perfect i think ( except for LigaMX who played a lot in that time). For that, you can get rid of the regional Cup ( Quebec/Ontario/Western). For lower division, maybe play home/away game on division cup to compensate. I dont particuly like regional cup because its less prestigious than Champions Cup and it overcharge the schedule. Im glad that you adjust U23/U20 squad on FM24. Sometimes when you get 3 games the same day it is a little too much. After Second division there is no reason to have two young club. Also, I am not a big fan of 5 foreign player max per game, even if I understand why ( keep playing national player for development and to imitate current CPL. A suggestion that I would make is you can have 8 foreign player on CPL, but lower division keep the same ( 5). At some point, CPL is the most competitive division, so it is should be less restraining. For CPL I would go with 1 U21 per game, and dont change for lower division. But it's just my opinion. I like the actual youth system. In the first season the youth system is just very bad, which is fairly correct. Also, a nice thing that I discoverer around 2070 is to got foreign affiliate club. It help to have a good youth system. Got a club in Columbian, Uruguayan and Chile at some point. About two to three years after the affiliation you can have foreign young guys, its a nice touch! I never touch the youth training review , but realise that Canada start on 67, and 80 years later it was at 100. I thought it was something that cannot change but happy to see the growth in that. On international level, there is two things that I dislike. The first is international window on november. It took place at the same time than the final of Champions Cup, and I cant reschedule Champions cup, which sucks because I always have 10/12 players on international duties at that moment, so it kind of ruined my team. Regional Cup can be rescedule so its ok for that. Maybe add that if you can. The second thing that sucked is something you cant really do, but, it is the level of competitiveness of Central america club. They sucked hard. Gold Cup is boring because beside semi-final/finals there is no challenge. Costa Rica and Panama should be at least competitive, and I know it is because of the fact that they are not playable. Nothing that you can do for that, but its make the Gold Cup kind of boring. Maybe a merging with Copa America could be nice, My biggest achievement: A perfect season ( 90pts) in 2090 but lost in finals of North America Champions League and quarter final of Champions Cup . Of course, winning the FIFA World Club was an achievement I wouldnt expect and really proud of. Also, the best ranking for Canada was a 4th place. So I think thats it, It was a joy for me to do that save. What you create was awesome, and glad to see already that you try to find solution on our feedback on FM24. I am probably gonna buy FM25, so if you recreate something, for sure Im gonna try it! Cheers!

I know its not the recent thread. But a little update on my epic journey on FM23. Im now in 2101, and pretty sure it gonna be my last season.After that maybe I will use the editor to make some test, but will see. Ive won the FIFA Club World Cup in 2089, and made finals this year in 2101. Got two wonderkid in 80 years, one of them was a goalkeeper, who became one of the best in the world, and led Canada to win the World Cup in 2082 . The other is now 21 in my current club. Was a starter since he was 17 years old but not developping because he is injury prone ( 2 injuries who took in total 17 month). Kind of sad because I could sell him at 18 years old for 60M and I thought it was low. Now he is worth ( only) 20M. Canada got a golden generation , like 5 players in the top 50 in the world. Normally its never more than 2. I also won the World Cup in 2090 For all this time, I just was able to have my own stadium, with my name. A nice 46000 place stadium, so thats nice, It was really hard to obtain. Also, there is only one club who were able to stay in CPL all that time, and it is Cavalry FC. Forge FC and Pacific FC was two seasons in CPL in total each. FInally, there was where we standing on clubs rep in North America. For my observation, Major League Soccer is not able to be better because of the salary cap. Mexican team are good but beatable. My players always want ot leave when they consider themself to good, they want to play in European competition, which is fair, but frustrating because I am not able to have the full price ( for example if I sell someone for 20M he is gonna worth 80M in Europe). One of the saddest thing is I was never be able to keep a player for more than 10 years, i tried but not happens yet, even if right now I have two player from my academy who are turning 27 and are now fully starter. I expect to lost them soon. Now a lot of young wonderkid are interested to sign on my club, but with a released clause which is not a way to make a lot of money. If you have question or comment dont hesitate. I will make a post soon about what I think could be better. My ultimate goal that I want to achieve would be to become the best club in the world but I dont see that happening anytime. I am really proud about everything I accomplish: Win the World Cup( twice), Fifa Club World Cup, became the best club in North America, developping a great youth system ( more on that later). I would never expect to have that much fun, what you create was fantastic. I was managing Sherbrooke since 2050, before that I was with Celtix Haut-Richelieu. Cheers!

Hi, I think its a good idea to spliced U23/U20. Sometimes it was really messy when the 3 teams played on same day. Unfortunately, I dont think im gonna buy the new one but still enjoyed myself on FM23. I am in 2090 and I am still able to find new challenge

That would be nice, but I understand that it would be probably be tricky. On a positive note, I made by far the biggest sale ever made in CPL. Very proud of that one. I could probably have more but I really want him this year. I am in 2081 and I think I have a shot of beating best European club in World Club Champions. That guy is a beast and taht money would serve to buy one or two world class player

I know I said it earlier, but I think it would be more interesting to put the 16 CPL club in a new format of League Cup with MLS and Mexico ( with an eventual MLS expansion it could be okay with 64 teams) with a 64 club format and get rid of the Quebec/Ontario/Western cup for at least the CPL team, or maybe replace that with a Papa John format, so every club with U23 CPL club. I propose taht because the reputation in Canada are so bad and hard to level up, maybe it would help if they can have more continental game , I know for the first 10 years we will suck again USA/Mexico but it could be a very good alternative to see the difference between league and could be a cash grabber for CPL team. I know I am legit the best team in North America but I cant buy some good level player because Canada's league reputation isnt great. I know I am so far, legit I think Im gonna play until 2100, where I think I could have a legit chance to win the World Cup. I have now a great youth club and Canada really improve, Canada are 11th in the World. A lot of great young player are there and there is something to do with them.

With the FM24 announcement and news that the game will be able to adapt to the U21 1000 minutes for the CPL ( or else the team wont be able to qualify for playoff), is this something that you will take in consideration? Personnally I like your actual format, even if its good to have that to help grow our sport. Also, I think at some point after 15-20 years the in your database the U21 wont be a good idea on your bench. Let me explain my idea: You already create a whole pyramid with a lot of division. If a U21 not good enough we can let play in lower division or U23 team( or U20). The concept is good at the begining I think because the actual level of player is bad( sorry) and there is not a lot of player available so why not using young player. If you want to talk about it dont hesitate! You create something really addictive, im now in year 2077

I continue my adventure with Celtix Haut-Richelieu. Got a pretty decent team, even beat Arsenal in Champions Club in 2049 and Bayern in 2053. But lost in quarterfinal twice. In 2053, I decide to change club because I dont think I could be better than what I was. The only way I could be better is to have more than 5 foreign player in the starting XI. The rest was the best canadian player that are not good enough to go in Europe and right now because there is not other good enough canadian club I cant rely ont them to grow reputation of the league, so player want to quit kind of fast. So I start with a club in fifth division and get them in first division in 6 years. Hope to be really good eventually :). With the canadian team, finally got good players in every position, was able to snatch one of the best prospect who want to go with France and snatch him. Was a superstar for us even at 20 years old. I lost in the finals against Germany in penalty, was so close! Hope to be able to have success like this in the future. Currently 10th in the Wolrd but I was ninth à my best. I dont get great prospect lastly, hoping to find more great prospect soon

Maybe got an idea for adding some games... maybe if your able to tweak the League Cup between MLS and Liga MX by adding CPL team by two way: 1. A qualification for League Cup between canadian team( except the 3 MLS club) (and maybe adding some second divisons team) to maybe reward few teams who will participate to League Cup 2. Add all 16 CPL teams to League Cup directly. Dont know how it will working. But maybe a 64 clubs format with robin round will do it. I know there 47 club right now so with adding one another club( USL champions or liga expansion winner) it would be possible I think it will be a nice addition, because i would like to see more intra-league game, The champions league is not enough because it's juste the best team and not easy to compare average team from each league. it could also help to increase( or decrease) the reputation of each club. If you need other idea i would love to contribuate. Love this save, im now in 2050 and have great expectation for the World Cup, currently ranking 15th in the World. At first I thought I was a good idea, but right now doesnt really like it. I dont like the bench rule to have a U18 and 3 U21. Sometimes it's annoying when you a U23 or U20 games the same day. Also, when you have a good depth squad its limiting options. Like i said, love this save

I am now in 2040 and wow, that was a really nice challenge! I took Celtix Haut Richelieu from Tier 3 ( my hometown team). I got a star player in Gabriel Balbinotti , who's was way too good to be in my team and manage to keep him. Was my best player for like 5 season. Of course I manage to be the top team in around 2028. Was consider a profesionnal team in 2027, it help me a lot at that moment. FOr the first 10 seasons I manage to find free player ( there was a lot to find in US lower division). I finally won the Canadian Champions League for the first time in 2039, the 3 canadian MLS team manage to be, in general, the best team in MLS ( Toronto and Montreal won 6 MLS Cup in 15 years, I dont know if they are that good because of this format. I also won one Concacaf Champions league in 2033, it was crazy insane! I think you know it and there is no possibility to change it, but a player who was register in concacaf league for another team cannot be register for another team, so it add a challenge because I wont buy player who's already play in that Cup. After all that time, the best thing is to see the grow in attendance, like in the picture. Unfortunately, in second division, the attendance go to 200 in 2022 to 400, who is not a lot and there is so much to do. I also am able to win 70/30 against US team and around 50/50 against Mexico team. My team salary is 2.2M, MLS and Mexico is at least 10M ( a lot of them has 20M+. There was some good canadian gem around the world, like Jules-Anthony Vilsaint, Luc de Fugerolle, Axel Desjardins. At some point there was free agent and was able to snatch them. Vilsaint was a regular on canadian team. In 2030 just before the World Cup, I took the Canadian Team, my best result was a round of 16 twice and a bad result in 2038, who I lose in round of 32 ( the new format is not fun). The best true canadian player were Davies, David, I.Kone, A.Johnston, K.Miller, Eustaquio. St-Clair was the first keeper for a long time. J. Marshall-Rutty was so usefull too. Unfortunatly, the game dont have a lot of good regen. Defensivly its terrible. I was able to snag a lot of DP form canadian MLS team. I also manage to convince foreign player who was not too good ( because they want to quit to be in better league) and good enough to stay five years to represent Canada. There was not good defender and keeper so it was my first task to find them and keep them. Also, with time and patience, I was able to have a great youth development, I got one real gem who I was able to keep him for 6 years ( the last to years he was on loan form Benfica). Now in the national team, I got at least 8 players who were on my squad ( foreign player and my youth team), so it's a good sign for the future. The Wanderers and Pacific are the best two other team and are able to developp and sign good player too. The rest is meh. I also won the Gold Cup one time in 2037, was lucky enough to face Jamaica in semi so I just got one tough game ( It's ALWAYS Mexico-USA, Canada and Jamaica in semi, and Jamaica is not good enough. I saw one time a draw between Costa Rica and Mexico but otherwise it's always the same team. Fun fact in World Cup, in 2026, USA win in finals against Ivory Coast. Turkey won in 2030 against Italy.
