  1. thoughts on this one please https://www.currys.co.uk/products/asus-vivobook-15-x1500ea-15.6-laptop-intel-core-i5-512-gb-ssd-black-10240161.html it's at the top end of my budget, but I think it ticks all my boxes
  2. no worries. I'm having a mare also! the one i was looking at is collection only and the closest is a 2 hour drive away! Looked at the Samsung one and that is out of stock - not surprised as it looks like a great deal! I'll keep looking!
  3. Sorry, is that not the same one? Did you mean to link this one? https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-aspire-3-15.6-laptop-intel-core-i3-128-gb-ssd-black-10242974.html
  4. so I'm looking at laptops for my kids as I'm tired of letting them use my laptop all the time when I want to be on FM! not looking to spend too much, they'd mainly be watching youtube videos and playing a bit of Minecraft (as well as FM obviously!). Would this one me adequate? https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-aspire-3-15.6-laptop-intel-core-i3-256-gb-ssd-black-10242976.html
  5. Hi, Not bought a FM in ages - currently still playing FM12! My kids have starting doing saves on my laptop but they will shortly be getting their own laptops, My question is - I only intend on buying 1 copy of the game, will they be able to have saves on their own laptops or would they need to buy their own copy of the game? I'm assuming they would be able to log into Steam with my details and use it from there, but I've not really used Steam before so not sure if this doable or allowed? Thanks in advance,
  6. Thanks Kev. How does this compare with this one: https://www.currys.co.uk/products/acer-aspire-3-15.6-laptop-intel-core-i3-256-gb-ssd-black-10242976.html They look similar, not sure if I’ll need 512, would 256 be ok? Can’t see much else difference between the 2 (apart from the colour!), but as said I’m not particularly savvy with IT.
  7. 1st time poster. Have read through the last few pages as I'm looking at a new laptop - frankly it blows my mind all he advice so I'm a bit overwhelmed! I'm not tech savvy at all, my current laptop is 10+ years olds and just about manages to still run FM12(!). Looking at getting the new FM and so I'll be looking to upgrade. I'll be using the laptop primarily for FM but also for general browsing, spreadsheets and the kids homework. Budget wise maybe £3-400 (maybe slightly over if the specs warrant it). From looking at the previous threads I have a fairly good idea of the suggested ones and feel a bit dim repeating the questions already asked; but for my piece of mind, what would be a good recommendation? Thanks in advance
