I want my teams to play beautiful, possession, tiki-taka-style football. But this year it seems incredibly hard to make them do that consistently. I've tried many tweaks on a 433 system - and we'll boss it for 3-4 games in a row. But then we'll get battered randomly by a team playing 3 at the back or counter attack. Basically it seems hard to maintain consistency in a 433 or possession-based system. I know multiple people have expressed this before as well - see tweet below. Generally I seem to get undone by through balls over the top of the defence. I feel like I'm being forced into playing 3 at the back or a Gegenpress. Would really appreciate it if this could be fixed. I want to play the beautiful game! Many thanks. -
Completely agree - I'm having very little luck playing a tiki taka style. I'll boss a few games and my tactics will seem to be working brilliantly... And I'll then get completely torn apart by a random team, especially teams that play 3 at the back with wing backs (I've been using 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1). I've tried tons of tweaks and replayed the games but it seems very hard to maintain consistency whilst playing beautiful football in this years game. It feels much, much easier to play counter attack football than possession. Please fix this as I want my teams to play the beautiful game! Cheers.

Hey Pete, Thanks for responsiveness - great to see from SI! Just wanted to say that I think a few arsenal players are rated pretty low in comparison to their performance IRL... and I'm not an Arsenal fan! I know you don't like to make minor stat changes but given Arsenal are 9 wins from 10 in the prem this season - I think they should be stronger so we can make the prem more realistic for anyone who has a save in the prem. William Saliba is France's starting CB, Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year last season and has been top-drawer in the prem but I don't feel his ratings reflect that. Anticipation, composure, concentration decisions and positioning are all 13... I think these should be around the 15 mark. Ben White is also a bit unfairly underrated - no stats are above 15. I think his stats should more accurately reflect his ability to play RB as he has been this year. Composure and concentration could be boosted, as well as crossing. I think Kieran Tierney is slightly OVER RATED. Reiss Nelson is OVER RATED. Elneny is OVER RATED. Jesus should have higher strength than 13 IMO (more like 15). And work rate should be 18 (Guardiola called him best pressing forward in the world). Positioning also higher than 7 to reflect how he leads the press. Martinelli work rate could be around 18 mark rather than 16. He never stops running. I believe others have mentioned Odegaard's leadership, that could defo improve. When you start a save you're told to change him as captain. Thanks as ever - can't wait to play the full game. Massive props to the SI team for another great Football Manager game! -
