Have tried editing both but the face remains.

you must be doing something wrong then.

 

and always start from the beginning

1) open player overview panel

2) locate the code or the next file: in this case - player_personal_details_panel.xml

3) repeat 2 - and you'll find - player/tcs/selector/header/playerpic/selector

4) etc etc - and at the end you'll find - player\tcs\selector\header\playerpic

5) now open the selector.xml and locate the file you need to edit as they are listed here

have you remembered to untick "used caching for faster loading" ?

and clear the cache and reload the skin ?

taking the file back_full_dummy.xml as you mentioned

and deleting / commenting out from line 58 to 126 removed the face fine for me. (both lines included)

Why can't FMXML or other app open an .fmf or .xml? And then search for  the Club name and the associated  ID in this database? 

The advantages. 

• save a huge amount of time. To search for ID and enter the ID for .png's 
• Searching for Club name in the Graphics folder
• no searching for wrong ID's
• Searching with Competition name
• Person Name
• Kit Club name 

Disadvantages

• Is there an ID with incorrect ID's in it, if the FM dosen't find a suitable png 
• Searching for the wrong ID in the folder becomes a problem.
• Open FM or FM pre Game Editor 

Conclusion the Advantages outweigh

You are in the wrong forum asking about FMXML

.xml is opened by alot of programs, notepad++ editplus, notepad etc

.fmf is extracted by using the "Resource archiver" which is free.

Unfortunately both 95% and 100% cut off the physicals even more. 

Also I’m on my laptop so I know that the version optimized for my computer would be the laptop version but that version gives my player profiles only 3 or 4 panels to use and doesn’t allow me to use the pizza chart panels vs 8 panels and access to that chart. 
 

The 85% zoom version of the default SAS skin fits my screen perfect and gives me a few custom panels I’m really enjoying BUT not being able to see a full scouting report at a glance is annoying. 
 

I was hoping there was a line of text in the skin file that I could alter to fit it but if not I will probably just go back to the skin I was using before.

yeah it's a resolution issue 

and there isnt really  1 file to change to make everything shift to the left

the scout cards are intertwined into 3 places and when you make changes to fit 1 screen it will most likely look strange on the other screens

If i was you, i would probably try and make the inbox "left side" less wide and hope the attributes would fall into place.. i can't remember where thats done, but probably in the inbox panel.xml 

 

try and change line 53

The skin is optimized for 1920x1080 at 100% - 95% is preferred

make sure your "windows scaling and layout" is set to 100% and the scouting card should sort itself

My only 2 points about the skin are the 1) hidden attributes; 2) in the home tab, you could have data from the next match below, the scout/staff's analysis of the opponent (in the style of Zealand's skin). Other than that, I think she's perfect.

The in-game panel with the uniforms and the stadium in the background is perfect. Very handsome.

There will always be something, that someone don't agree with or would like to change.

thats why it's free for anyone to make personal changes to suit there needs, as long as it's not re-released as something else.

it's down to your resolution, if you look through this thread there is a solution you can make that will "expand" the stadium pic to your size

I believe it's a game issue as you say yourself, Serie C isnt part of the default game and we "sadly" don't control what the dropdown shows and we can't edit them

 

But the best way is for you to test with the default skin, if it shows up in the default skin it might be a skin  issue, but i doubt it.

So please test again with default skin and another custom skin.
