different mentalities same passing and tempo. so is the directness and tempo the exact same for all these mentalities when set like this? can i set the directness and tempo the same a balanced tactic but increase player mentalities this way? if not they should change the wording.

not sure how we keep winning these big knockout games with "go for a big win" instant result. 1-2 SF away win over bayern just now does the assistant manager take charge for instant result? hes a 2 star assistant with 7 tactical knowledge. how do i check what tactic and adjustments were used in these instant results? it's so confusing that we keep getting pummeled from start to finish no matter what changes i make when i'm in charge but then win on instant result. edit: second leg "go for a big win"

i'm not good at analyzing during a match and making adjustments, it just looks to me like my players are amateurs. i tend to drop it down to balanced, DM to defend duty, RW to support duty, fullbacks instead of wingbacks, but then we just get pinned back all game, absolutely pummeled. at least being more aggressive, we manage to create some chances. do i just need to make a new, pure counter-attack tactic? name the last polish team with a squad like mine. its no Real, but its pretty good i'd say. i actually threw the UCL group stages 3 seasons ago to go for the UEL title and won it comfortably. i can practically buy an all star team but whats the point if it'll have no impact on club rep and how large clubs approach us?

well you got any suggestions? i don't even bother against the barcas and madrids and just use instant result "play for the win" and it tends to work quite frequently. beat city 5-3 to reach the QF currently, 2-3 QF loss to them previous season, season before that i actually played those big games myself beating utd 4-0 and psg 4-2 with the above tactic and thought we can actually hold our own now and then lost SF 1-2 again to city in a VERY one sided thrashing.

this club rep thing is a bit stupid. like if some oil tycoon bought a low rep club and bought all the mbappes and haalands of the world, would madrid still treat them like a small rep club? anyway we're a 4 star club in the polish league and our tactic looks a bit different now, its this if i remember correctly -

comfortably winning the league every season but finding it hard to perform in Europe also wondering how to encourage more crosses since most of my players are +6 feet, high jumping reach and strength, and i'd like to spam crosses to my 6'5" TM against stubborn narrow sides in the league. i have cross to TM on all my wide players but they don't cross a lot when they get the ball on the wings (WBiB turned off, switch IF to IW against defensive narrow sides).
