So I'm recreating the England Football Pyramid to include playoffs. The way I have it set up is I'm splitting the pyramid up into 4 tiers. Each tier has 192 teams split into 16 groups with 12 teams each. What I'm trying to do is have a post season where the best team from each group is put into a 16 team playoff and the winner of the playoff is league champion. The 16 teams who make the playoffs if they're in tiers 2-4 would get promoted to the next tier. The bottom team in each group however except for the bottom tier would get demoted. The problem I'm running into is the editor seems to let you do playoffs but without promotion and relegation, is there a way to override this?

It could be something with the way the promotion playoffs are set up, but FM should know that teams play in promotion playoffs. The reason I say this is the premier league is working fine but the Championship is having issues.

Yes, I was messing around with Messi's England database, I made it so that instead of teams playing home and away they would just play a single round robin season.

When testing the advanced rules I encountered an error that says Watford have played more than the max number of games in stage 0 in the Sky Bet Championship. Is there a way to fix this?

Yeah, there's no World Cup qualifiers in this database because every country is in the cup.

Yeah that works, I'll make a version that has it every year during the offseason so that players can still play for there clubs during the season.

I got the idea from a database I used similar to this a few years back, I think it was FM 19.

It's done every 4 years. I thought about doing it every year but I wanted to keep some level of authenticity.

Yeah, so this World Cup has eight rounds, the first five rounds are a round robin, followed by an eight team playoff. Round 1 220 teams/128 advance Round 2 128 teams/64 advance Round 3 64 teams/ 32 advance Round 4 32 teams 16 advance Round 5 16 teams, 8 advance to the quarter final Quarter Final 8 teams, 4 advance Semi Final 4 teams 2 advance Final Attached are some screenshots of the database. I'm going to do the San Marino challenge with this database and hope I can advance out of the first round.
