They're all largely the same, aside from the Lenovo one having 16GB RAM, with the other 2 having 8GB.  The other main difference is the HP at Argos has a lower screen refresh rate as far as I can tell.

Which other games would you be playing, as that would be a real deciding factor in which one to go for - 8GB is fine for FM, but some other games would ideally need more to get the best experience.

    Thanks for the reply.

Mainly FPS games, but not at a serious level at all

  2. Good morning,

I would be using the laptop for FM, some other games and Netflix etc. Ideally I would not want to pay as much as £1000 but if the Lenovo one is too good to turn down then it's fine.

All of these have the 4800H processors.

  3. Good morning guys,

Will the 1st link be suitable for fast FM gaming, with 3D game play. Will also use the laptop for general browsing and Netflix. Obviously the 2nd one is better but is the price difference justified and is it too much for my needs?

    Cheers in advance!

  4. Hey guys,

I am looking at getting a new laptop for FM21 with 3D game engine, although, this is not vital and for a bit of general browsing / Netflix use.

I've been away from FM for a while but have been playing FM17 on my HP 15 Notebook from 2014 with AMD-A8 and 8GB of RAM (not computer savvy) and the game is unbelievably slow.

Ideally, I was looking at getting a laptop from Amazon, Currys, John Lewis because I have a load of vouchers to use up.

Budget is around £600-800, preferably towards the lower end unless the price hike is substantially worth it.

    Thanks in advance!
