SEASON 17 I will try to change some player who can't grow anymore and I will try to buy some player to train. We will see.

Season 16 is over. We keep making progress (I will post one screenshot about our Five season in premier league) , 5° position in premier league and we WON the UEFA cup, we even made the record of Most goal scored for UEFA cup all time. It was a difficult competition we had to play so many matches.. All the season we suffered multiple injuries, it was absolutely hard to manage the team through this season. I don't want to talk much, I will just post all the screenshots. I am very happy, still I believe we are very far from the top 3. Next year we are going to play in Champions League. It's great to be here with scunthorpe. END OF SEASON 16

no update at the moment, I just want to add some more detail about the way I play, generally speaking: I see every match in the extended modality (3/5), the modality where you see every goal, every key action, and all the other important actions. It requires at least 5-6 minutes every match (I never calculated it though), it is possible to have a good idea about what happened, about the player positions according to your tactic, players qualities, common mistakes, etc. I don't spend more time than this on a single game. here the screenshots of the tactic I am using right now, and the tactic on offensive Corner kick : I only use the corner kick at the near post (I hope this is the correct translation).

Sorry if I am little lazy these last days, anyway, Middle-season update we keep improving our way of playing, our results are better and better, still there is quite a lot of work to reach top 3 positions. Right now we are a top7. We have 4 or 5 players which are training really well, unfortunately not so many as I hoped to have at this point. My scouts cannot find 15 or 16 years old to buy. Do I have the worst scout on the planet or it is just harder to find young talents on fm 2023? Europe league is going really nice, we won every game quite easily.

quick update after 2 matches of season 16, we have 4 points. Second match was a victory 5-1 against chelsea. Absolutely promising. During the summer I was able to change most of the players I wanted to change. It was a great session od players-trading. We are now SO MUCH stronger on both right and left offensive winger. here all the screenshots, team roster and team comparison. it is now hard to find weakness on the comparison. We are weak on Courage and Position, nothing more. 4 seasons ago, out first premiere-league season, the comparison was embarassing...I was so ashamed I didn't even take the screenshots.

SEASON 16 I need to clean some player, woodhouse, acker, Parisi, some dude didn't grow as much as I hoped. I am not even sure I want keep raising young dude, unless I really find great players. I will try to buy some player already strong in order to try to compete for the top 4 positions

Season 15 is finally over, we achieved a fantastic 7th position, and we are in Europa League, HURRAH! we lost in FA semi-final too, not bad. Kreische 21 goal, 7.31 average vote, 8 man of the match. impressive here Screenshots of the team and of the ranking END OF SEASON 15

quick update: we've definitely made the "switch". We are now a strong Premier League team. Now we dominate the matches against medium-weak teams, and we can play and try to win even against the top teams. So it took to us 15 seasons to go from the bottom of the English Championship (vanarama north league) to being a solid Premier League team. We will be playing for a place in the Cup until the last match of the season. I also changed the tactics. I increased the amount of pressing. It was already "high" but not at its maximum, I was afraid of seeing my players too tired. But I was wrong, the team is very young and very strong in resistance, they manage to maintain the maximum level of pressing for the entire match without problems. I also tend to rotate my players to give them plenty of rest time. I also raised the defensive line to be more effective with the pressing. To be honest I could have made these changes a couple of seasons ago, maybe even earlier. Fun fact: Haaland, 38 years old, is still playing with Man City and still scoring to me every single time I play against him.

some more informations: Our salary cap is now 68ML incoming from sponsorhsip are now 27 ML (top teams have from 100 to 170 ML) - man city for some reasons, 321 ML. I am playing 4-2-4 (double striker) since last season. it helped for sure to score more goals, still I am not happy about how many goal chance the opponents have. Anyway, quick update after 11 matches, we only have 14 points. Not really a great performance. It is highly possible another mid-ranking position.

SEASON 15 So, all I am doing during the summer is selling players which are becoming too old (Reiblein for example who hit 30 during the summer), then sell young players who aren't growing enough like Nevans or Vidal, and finally sell some players who don't have room to grow (like davies or doninger) And I will try to buy young players with good potential. I will try to buy some 17 years old for the under-21 too, just to see if they can grow and can be useful next year. I am not optimistic though, usually in under-21 players doesn't really grow much. Training facilities are at the top for the main team, while I am still working to improve the Youth-team facilities. Stadium is 16k slots, but I saw the president wnat to build a new one. The game right now, basically, is finding new talents and grow them. I don't think we can be competitive for the first 5 top position but with some luck we might be able to get one cup slot. I played one match, 2-2 against newcastle. Not a bad start of season. The team comparison is quite decent (3 season ago I remember we were the worst team EVERYWHERE), if I see the last-season team comparison, now we are MUCH stronger. Physique: we are bad only on physic integrity mental: we are bad on courage (it is mainly due to the very young age of my players) technique: we are weak on passing (our ball possession is quite bad) TEAM roster before season 15:

season 14 is over, we played a very relaxed season, all the time mid-position, sometimes we were playing for one cup slot but at the end we wasn't that close. We are still losing almost every single match agains the big teams (man unt, man city, chelsea etc.) if we want to become more competitive we need to make some points on those games too. Anyway we achieved 52 points. So first premier league season : 31 points second premier league season: 42 third season: 52 the progression is quite nice. Mid season update, finally the team is quite well performing, thanks to the hard training the average level of the players is so much higher than 2 seasons ago. The higher salary cap obviously helped, it is around 55 ML now, two seasons ago it was 20 ML... and don't forget we got the promotion from sky bet championship with a 5M salary cap... quick update, very early in the season since I played only 1 match and we incredibly WON ! 3-0 against norwich, previous season after 7 matches we still had 2 points, this time 3 points after 1 match xD Anyway I didn't change many players, team cohesion is infact very solid (this is the reason for the victory). I was literally unable to buy strong players (for many reason the players I tried to engage chose to go somewhere else or renovated the contract and so on... So, I kept buying young dudes with good personality (I prefer Motivated or Perfectionist or Good citizen) in order to train them. I really hope I will have the time to do that while keeping to avoid the relegation. SEASON 14 We need to continue the work, find new players with 5 stars potential and nice personality who I can already use for the main team. I am not focusing on under-18 team right now, I can't use financial resources to find and buy 15 years old players around the world. I am wondering if I should drop the 4-3-3 module and go for a 4-2-4 , because I keep thinking 3 midfielders are too many. I will think about it during the summer.

season 13 is over, it was again a very poor season, we was most of the time inside the relegation zone or one point above. Thanks to a decent season final (3 victories in a row) we were able to jump to a safer position but you should not be tricked by the 12th position, the season was Horrible. Anyway we conquered 42 points (eleven more than previous season) and the goal difference is -15, much better than previous season. it means we are slowly growing. From the team screenshot you can see how much I am trying to focus on training instead of buying "ready" players. Training facilities are Excellent so we definitely CAN train players. I have now at least 4 or 5 players who are growing well. Anyway, here we go with the screenshots of the season. END OF SEASON 13

quick update, I changed many players trying to engage players with a good potential, less than 20 years old. It was probably another mistake, I should have engaged players already strong. We are playing very poorly, after 17 matches we have 14 points still, we are not into relegation zone because there are 3 teams which are playing even worst than us. Struggling like this is not even funny...

SEASON 13 I am so angry I want to change every single player. We will see what it is possible to do.

season 12 is over. we were able to avoid the relegation by pure luck and only because there was someone else worst than us. The team was horrible, attitude war horrible, defensive compartment was horrible. We had some very rare moment of lucidity and we collected some points from time to time but I want to be honest here: this team deserved the relegation SO MUCH. Swnasea ended up -34 goal differnce, we ended up -33 END OF SEASON 12

that's great xD I will follow your progress. anyway, quick update about Season 12, the beginning of season was terrible as I thought (I changed too many players - I made the team stronger in term of players but I destroyed the team cohesion). I won't post the team comparison because it is embarassing... we are almost the worst team everywhere on mental/technique stats... Phisique qualities, we are not too bad since I pay quite a lot of attention to those qualities (speed-balance-strenght-agility) when I choose the players. so, two first matches of the season 0-4 and 0-4 without even seeing or touching the ball during the whole 90 minutes (against chelsea and bournermouth). 6 points after 13 matches, 9 points after 17 matches, we were clearly on the very last spot of the premier league. then, finally, my intense training on team cohesion and public relation and my costant effort to keep up the players mood, brought some good results. we won 4 of my last 6 games (plus one draw, one defeat.) So right now we are on 13° position, 5 points far from the relegation zone. Still a lot of struggle and hard work to do, but at least I am a little confident now. Avoid the relegation this season should be fundamental, I am 100% certain, with another summer and 3 or 4 more strong players we can place ourselves at mid ranking position till we build a strong youth team and we raise good players, in order to compete for the top positions of the ranking. last but not least, we are upgrading again the training facilities. Our main problem right now is the stadium, even because there was a Bug: I already upgraded the stadium to 12k slots, but for some reason there was another stadium upgrade, planned by the president. When the society decided to complete this previous work I found out the stadium were back to 10k. So now I have to work on it Again... pretty much boring.

SEASON 12 I am working on the team, I need to buy at least 3 or 4 good players if I want to avoid the relegation. I will updated soon...

we did it, Scunthorpe reached for the first time in his history the premier League. As coach, it took to me 11 season to go from vanarama north/south (6 of 6 england championship league) to premier League (1/6 england championship leagues) I could be faster if only I didn't fail for three times the playoff and if I didn't waste at least two seasons because Chorley decided to fire me, back when we were in vanarama league. Now, most of my players are asking for a new contract asking for HUGE salaries. I will see what I can do... In the meanwhile I am upgrading training facilities and youth team training facilities, every time I can. I am asking now for a new stadium too. If we want to grow, we need to be SOLID. here the screenshots of the ranking and of the team, so you can check the statistics (minutes played, average vote, goal, decisive passing, man of the match) and you can see the salary and you can have a good panoramic view of the team right now. I think I bought a very good right defender, it is a 17 years boy, absolutely promising. END OF SEASON 11

another quick update (I am going offline soon anyway) I had a bad 6 games in a row because I was devasted by multiple injuries. It never happened to me in 11 seasons. 5 players injured with 4 or more weeks, 2 red card with both player disqualified for 3 matches, 4 matches to play in 2 weeks, all playes extremely tired which were suffering even more small injuries. I was quite unlucky too because I dominated couple of matches and still gained nothing. So I collected 4 points over 6 matches and we dropped down to third position. We literally wasted 10 points here. I hope we can get out from this nightmare time. Most of the injured players recovered so, finger crossed.

quick season 11 update: after 15 matches we are at the 2nd place, We want the direct promotion, I really hope we can achieve it

SEASON 11 I changed quite a lot of players during the market, I am still working only on free transfers. I think I bought only the goalkeeper last season, of all the players I have. It looks like the society is giving to me a much higher salary cap (8M), which allowe me to engage 2 or 3 players with a salary close to 800k. I changed one right defensive winger too, I engaged one new striker (shuttleworth wasn't good enough for sky bet championship, but thank you buddy for everything, you did a great work to get me here) So, I should be a little bit stronger, I just hope we can have an higher ball possession because it was our main problem last season. We are probably just low on technique quality compared to the average sky championship player. Now, some good new: The stadium is getting larger, from 9k slots to almost 12k. We payed more than 3M for that. The training facility are getting better again (third time), which means we are now training the main team quite nicely. This is fantastic. I still have NO youth team (my under 18 is empty) , no yout team staff, no youth team training facility. None. It is too early for that even if... I might maybe considering to start improving the facility, because we have now 5 scouts, and we can scout through all GB (scotland, ireland etc.). So finally, after 10 seasons, we can say We have at least a "decent" scouting power. Playing with the youth team is quite a huge changement, it means we should scout only for player 15-17, then training them, then promoting to the main team, it is a completely different way of playing, and to be ready with that we should have Excellent youth team training facility. I will see what it is possibvle to do. right now, the team for season 11 is this one:

here all the screenshots of the beautiful season 10: considering that I really thought we had to play to avoid relegation with the very last economic power of all the 24 teams of sky bet championsip (3M salary cap) but we ended up third, and we reached the playoff final. it was a great success END OF SEASON 10
