Answer to your questions:
1) We don't know. The impact of Covid would likely be included, without directly referring to the virus.2) Transfer window changes have been included previously, so probably the extended one.
3) I'd imagine having, say, the 20/21 season without fans, or with limited capacity, and then returning to normal for the 21/22 season.
Thanks

I was wondering what the plans were for fm21 with regards to the pandemic situation and the football calendar schedule?
Will the covid situation be implemented in the game so no fans in stadiumsor will it be covid free?
Will the normal transfer window be in the game or this late extended one?
If the game has covid how will you decide on when fans return or will you have regular updates keeping in line with the real world?

This thread has inspired me to play FM again for the first time in a few months, it's a good read.
Sorry to hear about the loss as well, condolences.

That's a nonsense sacking to be fair.

I thought this was referencing all the Champions League winners I'm seeing on twitter, so many have won the CL after around 10-15 seasons with non League clubs, there is no way these people are doing it legitimately.
As for the question in hand, I'm almost 30 seasons in to my current save but am ready for a new long term, my saves usually last a minimum of 15 seasons.

I haven't loaded it but isn't it via the match screens?
Try to navigate via: League >>> Matches >>> Select the match / attend match.

Thanks for the advice. Currently not having any luck finding where the game save files are stored on the old PC?
Off the top of my head it's c/documents/sports interactive/games then your saved games are in there.
Also if you struggle then just load up the game on your old PC and save the game to the cloud instead of locally, doing this you won't need to transfer files yourself and you can simply access your saved game from any PC that you sign into steam / FM with.

What do you mean mate?
I think he's comparing the PC you linked to what you're using and the PC you're using now is better than everything you've been looking at, any reason you can't use what you've got or upgrade that rather than get a new rig?

OK thank you
What league and dB setup are you going to use when you play?
& What PC / laptop were you previously using for comparisons sake and were you happy with the speed your previous PC processed at?

442 is my favourite real life formation but I've struggled for years now on FM with it, have you found success doing 442?
4231 is my favourite to play FM to win but I'd really like to make 442 work.

If it's a one club save then usually about 15 seasons but if it's a globe trotter club hopper save then that will keep going until I get to a top club, I then manage them for about 15 seasons or until if I win back to back / multiple champions League titles.

I went back to my latest save to take a screenshot but as I'm over a month past the initial offer there is nothing in my transfer section relating to the bid.
I loaded up my back up fortnightly saves and managed to see the original offer of £146m that I tried negotiating over £200m lol so they withdrew as it says on the picture.
The latter £160m bid I can't get a screeny of as I rejected that outright when it happened rather than negotiate, anyway look at my guys stats, he is a superstar and Real Madrid aren't getting him, I also have them in the CL last 16

I'm managing Monaco in 2032 and received an offer of £146 million for a 22yo world class midfielder whose value is £90m
I couldn't believe it when I saw it and sat there pondering for a few minutes although I eventually rejected it they came back with a £160 million offer, both offers were cash plus monthly installments so full value but I rejected the second offer too as I've got £400m in the bank.

Steam will happily let you play offline until there is either a steam or game update available- in my experience, it will not let you proceed if this is the case until you have reconnected and updated.
Maybe you know a fix but every time I load FM steam verifies installation and then my account, if I'm offline it tells me I need to go online and the game doesn't load, steam is set to load on startup too but never does.
I couldn't play this morning because of this.

maybe I understand: he is set to join Manchester city on 22/05/2034 and the current date is 13 June 2033, So he wants to join Manchester city now?
I realised that's what he meant as soon as I looked at the picture.
It's very weird appointing a manager a whole season before.

Budget - I'd like to pay around £500 but willing to pay up to £750 for a desktop only please.
I like to play FM full version with a large db, English league 2 and above, Ligue 1, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga all as playable and then the SPL, Liga Nos & Eredivisie on view only.
I only use commentary when playing and that's unlikely to change as I've played FM ever since around CM04 and have never got in to the 2D or 3D.
Please help here experts, whatever desktop will run FM the best for my price range please as that will be the thing that takes up most resources for me, thank you so much.
(I've reached my maximum posts per day so will respond tomorrow to anyone who helps me).

That isn't at all true for anything I'd suggest a bare minimum 4 core machine these days
Really? I actually have less idea at what I'm trying to buy than I thought

I like to mirror myself so I play the game as if I actually got offered the job in real life, I made it as a semi pro footballer and have no badges in real life so playing like that really adds to my realism, I feel I'd be cheating myself by starting any other way but do understand why others take the badges.

I asked for help above so do have limited knowledge but from reading a lot in here if your main usage is FM then there is no need at all for a six core processor, apparently single core is all you need so no point getting more than a dual core if FM is your main reason for buying a new PC or laptop.

You can play offline once the game is installed sometimes
I've been caught out many times without WiFi trying to play FM but it wouldn't start as steam couldn't verify due to no connection, bloody nonsense really.

I use only commentary, I've always preferred it like this, I analyse the match stats and player ratings, 2D is better than 3D for me as well but commentary is what I'll stick with.

I have decided to get a PC instead as my laptop somehow manages to run my preferred setup on 4 stars, it even does 3D which I don't use.
My budget is £500 without a monitor.
I only browse the internet, use catch up TV sites or sky go and play football manager so a PC optimized for FM would be great.
It rates good on PC benchmark but is there anything better I could get?

I've found it easier than it should be I feel although I haven't done lower League for some time now.
