My assistant manager manages the U18s. Head of Youth provides advice.

The screens you want are Responsibilities > Staff and Responsibilities > Match Day. You should be able to delegate someone to handle U18s. I changed it so DoF manages the U18s.

If you want to push the board to hire managers, as they may find it easier to appoint someone on the wages you have, then delegating "hiring and firing the Torquay U18s Manager" may help prompt the board to start hiring coaches.

I have certainly used this option before and had my board fill up my youth coaches.

Yep, 1920x1080

I loaded up the default skin because the pics i posted before were with the user skin. I can't show my mouse pointer, but it was just below the box for zsori and showed the finger-pointing cursor, to open the with the ball instructions, rather than the usual arrow cursor.

1920x1080 is my native resolution. It should be what FM is running at. I'll try and find time later to have a check, just to make sure.

The overlay appears any time I swap players. I assume that is intended.

Lately I have found that clicking the player category and then back to overview removes the overlay. It's not a game breaking issue. Just annoying. 😁

Sorry, I forgot I'd bugged this.

I have just had a look and players do now appear to be showing positions for the current tactic when I try to add them from the squad list and from their profiles.

Have opened up my beta save that I reported this issue from. It does indeeed give me positions based on my trained tactic when adding to the squad planner from the squad list. This is after removing all persosn from a position, as I did in the steps in my original post.

 

It would seem to be working better <fingers crossed>

[Getting a lot of messages that 'Interview Process Is Over' when applying for jobs as unemployed]

I have noticed that a lot of the jobs I am getting the above message for are sticking around at the Job Centre.

It is now 9 days on from when I applied for the 7 Slovenian jobs. 4 of those jobs are still at the job centre.

I was playing Barnet - match pkm included - and their players suddenly appeared in an all black kit. Sadly, I didn't take a screenshot. At first it was justr 3 players but a late sub they made appeared on field in a black kit.

I checked replays from the match but the kit colour change can't be seen. I assume it only happens during a match and it is very random or triggered by a very specific instance.

I think it is the first player you interract with after clearing a list on the squad planner screen. I didn't go through with the actions in the post above and tried to add the next player straight away - it was reporting the right positions for 4-4-2

 

BUT, the next time I try to add Mullings from the squad page (after adding a couple of players to DCR) I get a list for a WB formation

It's very strange. The game keeps changing the formation and the available positions when I try to add a player via the squad screen

I only have one basic, untinkered with, formation in my tactics so it would seem adding to squad planner via the squad screen is ignoring the tactic (when it feels like it).

Does it depend on the player and his available positions? 

 

I know there has been a lot of rambling here, but I've been playing with this and trying to find what's causing it.

It does actually seem to be happening regularly. I just cleared my list of DCR and got this for the first player I tried to add from my squad list

Whether it is just as simple as the option to add player from the squad list is returning the wrong formation

I must add that after I have tried to add Dickinson via his profile I then get a list of positions for 4-4-2 if I try to add him via the squad page.

It is is as if attempting to add a player via his profile page "fixes" the wrong positions list on the squad page.

 

It is a strange issue. I hope I have explained this well.

I should add that I don't recall seeing this before I updated the Zealand skin around Christmas time. Whether it's something the other skin has caused. I don't know how that works.

The first time I saw it was in a match. I think the mini-profile icon on the player bar mid match may have been a new update for the skin.

The only reason I play with the skin is for screenshots for my write up in the careers forum. I like the player name next to his face.

Did you have the reload skin when confirming changes option ticked? Otherwise, perhaps you can show me a wider picture of your UI before you hover over and get trapped in this page so we can see what else is possibly interfering. 

@Michael Sant, I must say this is dedication to the game. 1.40 am and checking bugs. Hopefully the SI doubters see this. 

I must admit I found it less likely that the small form pop ups would stick on the default skin.

I just tried again on the default. I found the form pop ups stuck if I moved the mouse over the form points quickly.

I just ticked the option to reload the skin and did so and have got 3 pop ups to stick. Let me just record myself doing so.

As you can see I hovered over the mini-profile icon for Josh McQuoid and then moused over the match form points fast and the pop ups stuck.

These are my interface options (you can see the popups still on screen):

If I move my mouse off the mini profile it does disappear. If I move my mouse slowly over the form graph then pop ups don't stick. As long as I'm careful I can avoid the issue.

I turned off caching, just to try things, and I'm still getting the sticky pop ups.

Is it a zoom related issue? Clutching at straws there, probably.

This only seems to be happening with the form chart on the mini-profile. I've tried hovering over the form chart on a player profile and can't get a pop up to stick.

I don't know what else to add. I'm playing fullscreen, 110% zoom. 2 monitor set up. Discord, Steam, Firefox (both screens) running.

The add ons I have are player pics, badges and some shirts.

I'll just load up the game fresh with the default skin on. Got a sticky pop up hovering over McQuoid's mini-profile.

Clearing cache. Still happening.

 

Anything else you can suggest that might help please ask.

I can add that I have just witnessed this for my outfield players after making a sub on the LW. It's not just after subbing the GK.

I did notice that a later substitution changed the kit back to normal but gave my player black skin tone rather than his usual white.

I have a save that I uploaded to the cloud earlier for another bug if you want any more sources to review it. It's concerning the same match I was in the week leading up to. anagain_mixedupheadline.fm
