No as they still need to winYeah, Ruud Gullit was talking absolute rubbish yesterday saying that Germany will try not to go all out for the win so that Holland gets eliminated. I think they still want to ensure they win to make sure that they are in the quarters. Because if Denmark beat them and Portugal beat Netherlands, there is still a mathematical chance Germany could go out.

Holland need 2 goals for the GD. So it depends on what the Germany win would be by. If it was all equal then Denmark would go through ahead of Holland because they beat them.
I think head-to-head is above GD in determining who qualifies if teams are level on points. If Holland beat Portugal and Germany beat Denmark, the head-to-head will be all equal I think.

Whoever was in goal for Greece was pretty horrendous. Both Czech's goals were savable.
Tbh, thought that the LB was at fault for both goals. He was way too advanced and the Czech RB and AMR had acres of space behind. He was at fault for the Poland goal in their previous game too. Although the keeper could have probably done better.
At the other end of the scale though, Tomas Hubschman was rock solid in defense for the Czechs

Just watched the Greece vs Czech game and oh my god, Georgios Samaras is possibly the worst player at the tournament so far! Just horrible!

I think he may get it for just a year. It's ridiculous that he hasn't been offered it already though, the players and the fans love him and he's even just won the Champions League! He's free to keep as well... it decreases the level risk that is involved in bringing in other managers.
Problem is Abramovich wants them paying attractive attacking football as I understand it hence he decided to buy Hazard and Hulk. I think he might get it for a year if Abramovich thinks he has a chance to get Guardiola next season.

Because the managers of Chelsea never sign players it's always Roman who decided who to buy etc.
Indeed, god knows how that works. The manager is then forced to play a certain way to incorporate players into the system because they have been bought for ridiculous amounts of money.
I am almost sure that he will not give Roberto Di Matteo the job.

I agree, Cabaye would be a good signing, solid defensively and creates chances too. I would not mind one of the Bender brothers either.

Indeed. Most of their players have had good seasons domestically and they have a lot of depth in most positions except maybe Striker. Also, they are usually the freshest of the big teams in these tournaments due to their winter break.

When Inter won the CL playing in a similar way, I do not remember there being this much of a backlash but rather people said it was brilliant tactics by Mourinho and the same goes for Di Matteo imo. Chelsea adapted to both Barca's and Bayern's game plan and neither of them had an effective plan B.

Sometimes when it comes to FM I don't think logically when the answer is simple lol but anyways my question is, can you play the offiside trap with a cover/stopper CB pairing? I'm assuming not though but just wanted to make sure.
I do not think it would work as your Centre-backs would not be in line with each other so it will be harder to catch the opposition striker offside. Also, your covering defender would play an opposing striker offside often. In fact, I think that if you set your CB's to cover/stopper, the TC turns off the offside trap by default.

Are your AMR/AML strong with their foot that cut inside? Eg AMR should be strong with left and AML vice versa.
Maybe your striker should also be on support duty so that he can drop deep, allowing the 2 inside forwards to occupy the space.
Agree with this. And he will also play through balls to your AMR/AML. In addition, if your're playing with an AMC, you do not want him and the striker to occupy the same space in the hole.
