Greetings, @Zachary Whyte & @Ewan Aiton. After further investigation, apparently one can also overcome this issue by pressing the system back button (not the in-game one) repeatedly until the splash screen about "exit to the game's main menu" appears & then select "no." Credit to an FMM Vibe user Benny Luigi, I learned about this from him.

I have provided my phone's Android version & RAM size, but more specifically it's Vivo Y51 (2020). Just uploaded the save file. It's called "fm_save1.fms."

My phone runs on Android 11 with 8 GB of RAM.

I forgot to add, every time the issue happened, the game actually saved succesfully. There's no save corruption. Every time I loaded the save file, it loaded me to the exact moment where the game stuck on saving, without the game being stucked.

Often when I try to save a game, the game would stuck on "Save Game" splash screen. The only way to overcome this is to close & reopen the game. It has happened 9 times for me since the latest update. This issue has been there since the beginning of FM23 Mobile, but it was never this frequent.

It's indeed a massive issue. I'm infuriated, especially since I hinge my recruitment strategy on academy players. It's unbelievable how this passed the QA. & this year's version is definitely one of the worst in term of polish from my experience of playing FM Mobile for more than a decade. Not only that, the last few versions have been poor. Last year, there's even a bug on the Android version where save files were suddenly gone from the game. It's been fixed, but still, how did that pass QA?
