  1. Hello everyone! I'm glad to know that my tests have helped other editing lovers. I'm updating you with another discovery... using an extinct All-Star competition (beyond the teams) makes the tournament features more stable. I tested by renaming the Greek All-Star, turning it into a Cup of Stars that, based on the results of the custom league I created, picks more or less the best players of that season. You obviously need to set the items well in the rule PLAYERS - "All-Star Team Rules". The options that gave me satisfactory results (with the All-Star Team having a functioning player change) are where I checked: pick manager for team pick player using competitions stats don't use players selected before max squad size: 18 domestic average rating ignore condition then in the "squad selection rules" section, I added the "goalkeeper in squad" rule value: 2 - criteria: more than. My "Major League" competition includes 24 teams divided into 2 groups of 12. My need is actually to have two All-Star teams that compete (like the first editions of the MLS All-Star), based on the results of Group A and Group B. Here I still encounter some difficulties because the competition cannot understand how to divide the statistics of teams that belong to one group rather than another. So, you might see coaches and players selected in both teams. To overcome this problem, perhaps you should create statistics that differentiate the two competitions, so you have 2 different statistics based on the average ratings and performances of players and goals scored. Instead, as for making the All-Star Team of the Major League meet the All-Star Team of the Minor League, I haven't encountered problems of this kind. Another very interesting function was trying an international tournament where I managed to have the All-Star Team of my league participate against normal teams like Barca, Real, PSG, and Juve. Registering the team directly in the TEAMS - Registered Teams panel. I tested only one season, and it works, more or less capturing the players who stood out in the regular season of the league (although it doesn't reflect the TOP 11 that is awarded). It's crucial that there are end-of-year awards in your league. This way, it will be easier for the algorithm to extrapolate the players' average. So, various awards like "best goalkeeper" or "best defender" will help you.
  2. Hello guys, if it can help, I was planning to create a UEFA All-Star Game. 4 teams representing the top four European leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga). I started experimenting, and at the moment, I've created only 2 clubs. The trick is not to duplicate an existing All-Star team. I managed to recreate the "Premier League All Stars" and "Serie A All Stars" by modifying two extinct all-star clubs from Greece (Greeks, Foreigners). The competition works (I copied the MLS All-Star Game), and the players from their respective leagues are selected. However, unfortunately, there isn't a precise criterion, and the players chosen the first time tend to stay for a long time, even after changing teams or the nation of the league. maybe some configurations need adjusting (Players -> All Star Team Rules), but I must say this is the most successful attempt among all the ones I've made over the years.
  3. Unfortunately, it seems not to be working. I tried to recreate the same rules as the USA or Canada, but the "draft" only appears in the calendar reminder without generating anything.
  4. @themodelcitizen @Gum Hello and Merry Christmas! I have a request for you. Since you have worked extensively on the USA database, is it possible to use the MLS "draft" system in a different league? I would like to implement this feature in my custom database, with academies/universities generating regens. In this setup, professional teams would take turns using draft picks. Alternatively, I am considering including all players released by clubs in a draft round, allowing teams to select the top 10-15 free agents.
  5. I made some changes, and now the Junior Cup has only "Stage 0" with 7 rounds. First Round: 32 teams from League B and C -> 16 teams advance to the second round. Second Round: The 16 teams become 8 -> they advance to the third round. THIRD ROUND: Here, the teams from League A ranked 5th to 16th in the two groups (24 teams) should enter, along with the 8 teams from the second round -> 16 teams advance to the fourth round. Now, I need the 16 winners of this third round to not only progress in the Junior Cup but also qualify for the first round (called Play-In) in the Elite Cup. So, I have included this action: FATE ACTIONS Qualify Team For Stage Round Name: Third Round Team: Winning Team Competition: Elite Cup Next Stage - Stage Index: 0 Main Stage Name: Play-In The Elite Cup does not recognize the advancement of these 16 teams from the Junior Cup I have tried adding this action: + STAGE 0 - Teams Get Qualified Teams From Stage Competition: Junior Cup Stage: 0 Main Stage Name: Play-In However, I'm getting this error: New Stage for the Elite Cup can't find enough teams to be created. 8 teams found, 24 needed. I have also tried "Get Qualified Team for Comp" and "Get Cup Round Teams," but I keep getting an error: Cannot find stage at index 0 in the Elite Cup to insert the team into (from the Junior Cup). Do you have any suggestions?
  6. Hi! I have created a custom database with one of the extinct nations (Upper Volta). I have done almost everything, League A (32 teams divided into two groups), League B (16 teams), League C (16 teams), but I am having trouble with the national cups. I have created two cups, one called Elite Cup, where the top 8 teams from League A qualify directly based on positions 0 to 3 (considering the division of the two groups). The teams placed from 4 to 15 (24 teams) in League A qualify for Stage 1 of the Junior Cup. All the teams from League B (16) and C (16) qualify for Stage 0 of the Junior Cup. Basically, I need to create a rule that allows transferring the 8 teams from the Junior Cup to play against the 8 teams already qualified in the Elite Cup, to form a knockout tournament with 16 teams. I have tried everything, but unfortunately, I always get the error "New stage 0 for Elite Cup can't find enough teams to be created, 8 teams found, 16 needed" Does anyone know how to correctly set up the rule to identify the 8 teams coming from the Junior Cup in the "Teams" section?
