Hey, guys, I thought I'd have a go at taking control of scouting...so I went about setting up some areas of recruitment focus, including some European countries and competitions. However, when i look at the "scouting coverage" map, it doesn't really correspond to the areas of the world I'd expect to see scouted. For example, I sent a scout to France and Italy. On the map, this doesn't show, while other areas fill in orange fine. Am I not understanding the mechanics?

Hey, guys, I have what feels might be a silly question: can I compare my squad players to those players outside the squad (if they're scouted) or can I only compare players to those in my own team?

Hello guys,
I started a new career and was expecting to be taken through the usual inductions. However, when the induction message appears in my inbox it's really just a short summary. In the past, I recall being able to click on "take induction now" and the game would take you through the topic step by step. Am I missing something or has it changed?

Am I missing something? All scouted players marked for my attention are all "fully" scouted". I recall in previous versions most were initially presented as partially scouted...

I am probably missing something, but if I don't wish to start my career as one of my favourite squads, how do I do this? I'm reffering to the screen that lists all the teams in the league you've chosen to begin your career in.

Hello guys,
I'm hoping the more experienced players can clear something up for me....
I play as Liverpool, and up until this save I've never paid much attention to finances. So, I'm currently in my first season using the latest database, 22.4. In July, the board intervened on my behalf and purchased Theo Hernandez, a really good left-back i was after for £61,000,000.
Now, in November, after only several months of competitive play, my current bank balance is almost £8,000,000 in debt. I don't understand it!
I did notice that when using the original FM22 database Liverpool's starting balance is around double that of the 22.4 - £240,000,000 compared to £120,000,000.
Anyone care to clear this up for me?

Hello guys,
If I start a new career save as Liverpool, using the latest database (22.4.1), will my transfer budget differ from that of the game's original database at release? And, are there any other diiferences, or is purely the player database that changes?

I don't think I'd go as far to call it a bug. Like I said in my OP, the beta requirements are different, suggesting to me this has been changed on purpose.

Hello guys,
Started a new save and I'm a bit surprised to see that the Liverpool board's Premier League expectations are only to qulalify for the CL. They do desire the title next season, but I was really expecting something tougher in the first season.
Anyway, this is more of an observation rather than a question as I'm certain during the beta the board desired the Premier League title.

As the title says, can someone more experienced than I explain the benefits of scouting just a competition within a nation rather than the nation itself. To me, it'd always be better to scout the nation, no?

Hello and Happy New Year guys,
I started a new save and found two players in my squad who were not present when I took over: Ally Cleary and Greg Nixon appeared immediately afterward. Then, they were replaced by another player of a different position. I have no idea who these players are, and there doesn't appear to be much I can do with them. Are they some kind of regens, even though I've just started? I would like to know or get rid of them. I noticed as the game moves onthat

Edit: The same happens when taking over as manager of other teams. Anyone else experience this?

THank you for responding, guys! I realise that FM is a very complex beast. This doesn't feel altogether immersion breaking for me, I simply thought I wasn't understanding the nuances couting. Cheers!
