According to Propositions of the Competition for the SuperSport Championship of the Croatian Football League For Competition year 2022/2023: At Supersport HNL League matches, up to twelve (12) substitute players can be named and entered in the score sheet, of which a maximum of five (5) players can enter the game. Each team will be entitled to a maximum of three stoppages of play for substitutions during the match, and substitutions can also be made at halftime. If both teams make substitutions at the same time, this is counted in the quota of both teams. In game is 5 of 9 it should be 5 of 12.
