[Second team in no competitions]

I am managing Farul Constanta in the Romanian Superliga. My second team, Farul Constanta II is not playing in any competitions, the only way they play any matches is if I arrange friendlies for them (for some reason, their head coach isn't doing that even if I assigned him that responsibility). I checked the situation in real life and it seems the second team was disbanded; also a lot of second teams for Romanian top flight clubs no longer play in the third division like they did last season. 

Is there any way I can register my second team for some kind of official competition? It seems like I can't really use my second team for young player development, just to get match sharpness for some players.

[Required attributes for providing training reports]

I see in the individual training screen there is a coach that provides a training report and gives suggestions. You can select which coach it is, but by default it seems to be the one providing the general player reports (in my save, I hired a coach with very high judging ability and potential for this).

What are the necessary attributes for a coach to provide good training feed-back? Is is still JPA and JPP or something else?

[Getting staff feed-back in inbox vs staff meeting]

I remember last year you could choose to get the staff feed-back in your inbox as opposed to attending the staff meeting. However, I don't see how I can do that in FM23? Is there an option that I'm just not seeing? Or did they remove this feature? I'm not  a fan of staff meetings, seems like it just wastes more time.

[Board won't increase transfer or wage budget after Champions League qualifcation]

I'm playing as Farul Constanta (Romanian league) and I'm in my second season. I just qualified for the Champions League and got the 15M euro for reaching the group stage, which is a huge amount of money for a club of this stature. I tried asking the board for increased transfer and wage budgets but they refused both of them because apparently they were recently updated. I can't remember any changes since the start of the season; and they're pretty low: ~200k transfer budget and 200k/month wage budget.

Is there anything I can do to have them increased? They're also refusing my requests to add staff and increase staff wages; the only thing I got them to agree to was to improve youth facilities (hopefully they will agree for training facilities as well, but the option to request that isn't showing up at the moment).

For some types of training, it's hard to get coaches with an over 3.5 star rating. It's also hard to get scouts that I can really trust (I have a few with 17+ judging attributes, but a lot are still around 13-14). I guess it depends on the requirements: the board is already very happy with my performance, but I want to win the Champions League and I feel I would need better staff for that (or at least to make it easier for me) and I could easily afford it.

 

[Stay wider instruction for CM]

Can the stay wider instruction be used for central midfielders?

I'm trying a tactic with 3 Box to box midfielders. It's working fine so far, I was considering if I could improve it by using the "stay wider" instruction for the 2 lateral players (during highlights I noticed the players are really close to each other). However, I'm not sure what this does exactly, from what I read it's meant to make wide players hug the touchline. Also, the players have the "Roam from position" instruction (I'm guessing this is a default for the role since I didn't add it) and I'm not sure how this would interfere with "Stay Wider".

[Increasing maximum staff wages]

Does anyone know how I can increase maximum staff wages (if it's even possible)?

In my save, the year is 2023, I'm playing as FCSB, Romanian league, club finances are around +50M euros (considered rich), reputation is national (3.5 stars). My wage budget is around 2.3 M euros/month and transfer budget around 32 Meuros. I'm spending ~1 M euros/month on wages. Still, I can't increase the maximum wage for a scout over ~7K/month or a coach higher than ~10-11K. Everytime I ask the board to increase the maximum wages for a staff role, I get the answer that we're already spending enough on staff or that the wages are sufficient to attract a candidate of a high enough caliber.
