How many stoppages have you done you are allowed 3. 

So if you say on 50th min sub 1 comes on, 10 min later sub 2 comes on ,10 min. Later sub 3 comes on. You won't be able to do any more after the 3rd stoppage you need to double up the subs. To use all 5.

Wasn't aware about the stoppages rule explained above (thanks), so I thought it was not letting me do the five subs. However now seems I might be getting extra through the AM.

Did you make a sub at half time as half time is not included in the stoppages

You can only make 5 subs in 3 stoppages say 2,2 and 1. If you try to do 1 ,1 ,1, 2 it's not allowed.

The 5 sub rule generally can only be made in 3 intervals e.g. you can't make 5 subs on 5 separate occasions. So you can do 3 subs, then 1 then 1, or 2 subs, then 2 subs, then 1 sub but never 1 then 1 then 1 etc...
