Hello everyone, following extensive testing, we can confirm that the average the number of recommendations and near matches has increased following the tweaks we made in the Main Data Update.
We’re sorry that some of you are still not happy, to clear up some misconceptions. We made no changes to Scouting between Full Release and our first Major Update.
Another important thing to note is that when creating a Recruitment Focus you have to factor in the quality of your squad.
For example, if you are a top Premier League club with a very talented group of players, your scouts will obviously have a harder time recommending players that they feel will make a significant impact on your team.
So, say instead you are a mid-table team in League One, your scouts will have a wider selection of players to look at and recommend to you.

And why doesn't "ongoing" work?
Scouts after not finding players that fit the squad, should continue looking for players and that doesn't happen.

THE SCOUT IS BROKEN, STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND ALTERNATIVES.
This only further discredits SI’s work.

What we can suggest is that when creating a recruitment focuses make sure it is quite broad and don't overwork your scouts if you want to maximise the number of results they receive.
Sorry Zachary, but that's not the problem. Scouting is broken and this really harms “my immersion”. I am being forced to search for player in the search filter.
Please, take a closer look at this bug, which for me is what is really bothering me.

I also have the same problem. It's incredible how something so important in the game is broken. I just don't get ANY scouting reports

No it’s a bug, there is a whole discussion going on in the forum about it, and your colleagues have confirmed it a bug. Nothing tactical.
In my saves AI teams like Barcelona, juventus, man United are always bottom of the table for possession.
Unfortunately this bug persists in Fm 23

Hi, focuses when ongoing 'end' and then 'restart', with the previous results being filed in the completed section.
So can you navigate to the completed focus and see if you have a completed reports.

Do you intend to organize this section better? The accumulation of completed tasks is very strange and we don't have the option to remove them0 -

Hi, the scouting of the players are still in progress. It will take some time to get recommendations when using ongoing focuses. If you want quicker reports you can increase priority for or quicker results.
No reports are coming at all on any of the priorities

Scouting (Recruitment focuses) doesn't work
in Transfers, Scouting, Contracts and Intermediaries

They know there is a problem but they can't solve it because they are focused on FM25. It's better to focus on something that will make them money than to solve a problem with something that already made them money.
