  1. First season complete - Won the SCEFL Div 1 at a canter and somehow fluked my way into an FA Vase win too : The entire squad has been replaced one and a half times due to teams constantly poaching my players, but such is level 10. This season's stand out players : Top Scorer, Highest Av. Rating & Fans' PotS: Michael Ogboin A relatively immobile target man, but stick the ball on his head and he will score: Top Assists : Junior Dadson An experienced winger who can also play up front (which he needed to do after my best two poachers were....poached), he brought a touch of class to the team and often pulled us out of the fire just when he needed to : Young PotS : Kaidyn Michael A mobile midfielder with a decent long shot and eye for goal. May well be more prominent next season, although will be fighting with a long of young players from a decent intake Next season's plan is to try and upgrade the squad and at least make the playoffs. There could be a lot of ins and outs just due to our players all being wanted by bigger clubs. I think season 2 will be one where we start blooding a number of youngsters, as the youth system was why I came to this club in the first place. Season 1 Summary :
  2. Better late than never, I have decided to take on this challenge for the first time, using the club on whose pitches I spent a decade playing in the very bottom division of Sunday League - K Sports FC. Based in the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, and originally formed in 1919 as Ayelsford Paper Mills (the works team of the now demolished paper mill based in the area), K Sports have excellent facilities for their level but no pedigree to speak of, having spent only 1 season at a level above their current division - Southern Counties East Division 1. Meet the manager : An old school manager who is open to new ideas, he has a real focus on fitness and an eye for a player at this level With a predicted mid-table finish and good facilities for this level of football, there is every reason to be optimistic going into the season The squad is a mixture of youth and experience but a little unbalanced, looking particularly short of quality up front. It looks like some movement will be needed in the free transfer market before the season starts :
