Alessio "Granddad" Cerci signs off with a 20-yard goal and a perfectly-weighted assist through a cross winning me the Italian Cup. I wonder if this was scripted? Yeah, I always planned for him to finish the last game of the season, and of course I heard the imaginary standing ovation from both my fans and the Torino fans. Who says old players are no good?

On my game, they are inseparable.
As in: Manchester United 12th in the Championship, and Liverpool 13th.

yeah - seen this heaps, kids that are uncontracted, don't get to 30 an never have a club. They just retire and lay bricks or something. Games way of getting rid if the dead wood me thinks.
That in itself is not a problem. Lots of players give up football at that age - just not in the top leagues. For example, some footballers simply don't want to play amateur or semi-professional football and go back to studying.
What I do find irritating is that they hang around, unsignable, until they retire. Why don't they just... Disappear?

The FYR Macedonia manager on my game has a very short attention span.
Ilija Jovanov is one of my backup goalkeepers. FYR Macedonia is full of grey players, but for some reason, the manager picked him to play in central midfield. 8 minutes later, he realised his mistake and put on a defender (presumably switching positions around).
So now my poor goalkeeper will forever be tarnished with this outfield position.

Good game for the nuetrals but im sorry for your terrible math - goal every 5 and a half minutes (techniccally 5.625 minutes but whos counting apart from me).

Defending was an option in this game, and neither side decided to take it.
Mind you, I'd love to see a game where there's a goal every 4 minutes on average!
My young goalkeeper also managed to get a rating of 7 in this match somehow.

Lovers of good defending, look away.
What I find most bothersome is that a goalkeeper that concedes 8 can get a rating of 6, and one who concedes 5 get a rating of 7.
There's also some rather disturbingly generous ratings for the defenders...

BetFred and William Hill have reportedly declared bankruptcy after losing an unprecedented 100 million pounds on the recent AC Milan Under-20s vs. Triestina Under-20s Under-20s Cup Final.
The Triestina Under-20s were given silly odds despite being:
- Under-20s Cup winners for around 6 seasons in a row
- Winners of their Under-20s league for over 10 consecutive seasons
- Habitual scorers of over 120 goals in the Under-20s league alone per season, with a goal difference always above +100, with 120 goals alone scored this season
I'm curious to know how these odds were calculated!
Alright, I did put my best striker in (he was recovering from injury) but Milan fielded their second-choice goalkeeper and third-choice centre-back (one of my former players, actually - bet he wished he'd stayed with me!).
