When you say match analysis, do you mean in game or post match? I argue SI have stripped out too much in game analysis imo. Perhaps we had too much pre FM21, but my view is that if you can track it live is something like who scored you should be able to track it live in FM.

I didn’t explain it very well. I think I mean the half time and full time analysis, where you can click on a player’s passing, for example, or a teams passing. Or their shots or whatever.

That whole screen to me is cumbersome and needs to be made more user friendly.

  2. Player want a new contract and is upset I haven’t given him one.

Player  is 45% owned by agent. Can’t offer contact until I have full ownership.

Im unable to tell player this and he feels betrayed and upset.

I try to buy share, but unable to negotiate as the button won’t work, so submit and offer that the game doesn’t seem to acknowledge this has happened.

    I am upset too.

Exactly this I really, really can't stress enough how much I worry when I see those kinds of posts. They are essentially calling for the ruination of the game again. I stopped playing FM20 in January, which is a first for me, because the ME was so stale boring and frankly rubbish. Yet here we are after SI have created a thing of beauty that has me loving playing the game again people want strikers nerfed!

    NO THANK YOU.

If you don't like exploit tactics simply don't use them! If you use balanced well thought out tactics this year you'll have a smashing time IMO. That was impossible on Fm20 as I saw my striker fluff a sitter for the 17th time in a row!

My striker went through, skinned the goalie and tapped it in. Wonderful

Looking for a team to manage that has good potential. Minimum mid table in a top division, but happy with higher. A couple of good youngsters or one really good one, stable finances etc.

Any ideas? Want to be able to push in to Europe and compete in a decent time frame, so happy to go with a 'bigger' club too, had fun with an Arsenal save (team I support) at the start of the game, and my best save last year was Lyon.

    Birmingham, with Jude Bellingham?

hope for an new build soon. we should get updates more frequently in the beta.

hopefully there is something that makes the amc role work again.

What's wrong with the AMC role ?

Do you expect a masterclass each time he steps on the field?

There are so many variables and things to take into consideration as to why it might not work for you? Have you looked into those before saying it's broken?

See, this is one of the things that make FM so frustrating. I'm seeing nothing but crosses into the defender's shins although, rather than a corner, they usually result in a rapid counter and a goal for the AI :seagull:. Someone said it in this thread a couple of weeks ago, but it's as if *everyone* gets a different ME!

My post was from a very small sample size, one game against mediocre opposition, and one against truly a terrible team. Pre season.

  7. Only played two games but it's certainly different.

Pressing feels a bit odd, even though my mentality is positive and I have high line and high engagement, after a short oppo goal kick things go weird, the d line stays put and I only get one midfielder run out about 100 miles and try to press. It may be the player roles etc, but it seems weird, sometimes everything sort of stops while opposition have the ball in their half after a goal kick.

Liking the wide play, no longer does it seem that a player will stop and wait to be closed down to kick it into the shins and out for a corner. No more short corners played back to the taker for an offside.

Balls over the top seem to have gone right down, had 1 clear one on one in 2 matches and that came from a surging run, not a through ball. It was saved by the keeper but it seemed plausible taking into mind the angle , speed of the run, etc. Goalmouth action does seem a little more realistic.

The game still doesn't flow as I'd like, but I think the engine is a decent step in the right direction.

I noticed just now that my board gave me an F because a signing cost too much, yet I delegated the buying and contact offering to the chairman. Classic Levy, blaming the manager for his shortcomings.
