Guest
Just got a job at Newcastle United. This will be a tough one. Just 17 (seventeen ) players, and NO goalie. I spent last session looking for quick buys to fill up a squad a little. Thankfully (well... thank Nuno ) i got Chiotis from Fullham for mearly 10M so i don't have to put sweeper between the posts. Now looking for more players to build the backbone of future challangers... it is shooping spree! I feel just like Barry Fry...

Guest
The start wasn't bad: 4-0 at home with Blacburn (Chpora scoring hat-trick) 3-0 at home with Torquay (two goals from a new buy Forssel) then... away defeat with Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 reminded not get overexcited but the future looks bright

MACKEM
Mixed start for the reigning champions. Knocked out of the CL and the league cup but doing ok in the league Seems everyone was right about Anelka. He is a total tosspot who is ruining my team. Wish i`d took the 30m barca offered for him Worse of all though, i got beat off Blad`s Newcastle although the ref does come from Wallsend as he sent 3 of my players off Blad looks like he is going to be a real threat. We sold a shÃtload of players (Aghahowa, Mantorras, Chiotis, Voulgaris, Dorsin, Riise, Postiga and a few more) and we have now something like a hundred million to spend on players though we're not intending to do it. The shorter the squad themore consistent it gets and I believe this is the secret for the comeback of good football and results to the Cottage. Worth a mention the wins against Liverpool and Newcastle both 4-0. In the league cup we qualified for the fourth round where we'll play Norwich. Can't say I'll promise the title but be aware, old Nuno is back.

Guest
Seventh season keeps rolling I thought I could air my opinions about my fellow managers and their team's performances so far:

Tottenham-(If you don't like me...)- Some guy from some other clan warned me that Kris is one of the best managers around and he wasn't wrong. After taking control of the Spurs last season and leading them to a Uefa Cup spot, Kris continued his squad rebuilding and is now sitting on 2th place, nine points away from Man Utd. He's definitely a treat and added even more quality to this clan. KUTGW Kris!
Fulham-(Nuno Santos)- This is me and I can tell that my strategy of selling most of my big-well paid-important-superstar players is paying off. We have now a smaller squad with ambitious players and our 3rd place in the league is promising, considering the crap displays we had the last couple of seasons. Man Utd seems to be going to grab the title easily so I should look for a place in the top four. I want Champions League back at the Cottage.
Newcastle-(DKA)- If Blad joined us a few seasons ago he wouldn't be allowed to have Newcastle, but considering that the geordies were in a bad position and their squad consisted of 17 players only andno GKs, we thought they could be considered now a midtable club and we let Blad take this challenge. What we didn't know was that Newcastle was fully loaded and our Polish lad is building up a great squad, waving his cash in all directions. No wonder that he's doing a good season (5th) and above all he's doing better than Mackem's Sunderland.
Sunderland-(Mackem)- Our bragging chap, also known as Steve probably thought that this season would be a walk, after winning the league, the Intercontinental Cup and the World Clubs Cup, but his Sunderland is struggling now in 8th place. With all his tactical wisdom I'm sure Steve will get past it and challenge for one of the top positions. Hmmm...Maybe if he concentrates more in the game and less in abusing me in the mirc room, then he might have a chance.
Blackburn-(we8parkin)- Lee is the newest member of the clan. On his first session he was disappointed at his club's bank balance. Blackburn are deeply on the red and there's no chance for Lee to rebuild his squad until a new board takes over. The 9th place isn't that bad after all. But if it was to be easy, then his presence among us would be pointless, we are people who like tough challenges.
Aston Villa-(HL7)- Mike is as usual struggling to dedicate the time he wanted to to our game. He's playing just a couple of hours per session and that must be the reason that Aston Villa is on a poor 10th position. They were 2nd last season and we all expected a similar performance from our Scottish bud. I've told him already to kick his brother out of his room in clan days or to take his comp to the bathroom but he doesn't seem too intersted. Guest
Blackburn appoint Robinson as their new manager It was today announced that Lee Robinson would be taking control of Blackburn after poor results led to their managers sacking. Robinson has plenty of experience in the lower leagues of England, but not much in the top division, so it will certainly be a challenge for him. When at the press conference, Robinson was asked where he would like to see the club in the next season or so. His reply was 'Well, after looking at the squad i can certainly say that we have some very tallented players. We have the likes of Knopper who is attracting much intrest from other clubs, but to stablise this club i believe that we need to hold onto these players. However, the bank balence of the club is a great worry. We are 11m in debt and it is growing each week. Fingers crossed a new board will soon buy us out, clear the debt and make a small amount of money available for transfers' Robinson certainly has a tough job ahead of him and to read all about it watch this space
