Lathund Posted December 20, 2008 Share Posted December 20, 2008 I've so far only played FM09 in Italy, and only now in my 5th season I will be playing in Europe, so I've not had more than 40-45 competitive games per season so far, hence not ever having the need to rest players for very long. Players haven't reacted at all that I have noticed when I've kept them outside the lineup for a few games, such as letting a promising youngster play a few easy games in place of my star midfielder. I did use the option on a couple of players, and they reacted neutrally. Saying they didn't see the need (They weren't jaded) but were willing to go along with it.
