Unable to call up players to national side

I’m currently in the middle of a save with Jamaica and for some reason I’m unable to call up certain players who have already decided to play for me. For example, Djed Spence has 11 caps for my Jamaican side but is still listed as English. Since removing him from the squad due to an injury, I’ve been unable to put him back in the squad. The ‘call up to nation’ option no longer appears on screen, which is also the case with five other players who I have previously called up. I have also noticed that when searching the personal details of these players it states ‘declared’ next to ‘Jamaican’ but still says ‘eligible’ next to their other nationalities. Anyone else come across this or have a fix?

Is your national squad full? - there has to be space within it in order to call up a player, the other reason it might not be present is if your squad is locked because you're in a tournament or close to a match.
