Mass Northern Ireland Youth Departures at save start

I noticed that at the start of a save with Northern Ireland enabled there is a mass youth departure on the 3/7/2023, and there are some really good talents that are getting released too, which doesn't seem to make sense, as why would clubs release top talents. I wasn't sure whether this was as intended, or a bug? Northern Ireland seem to be the only nation that are releasing youth players too, and there are hundreds getting released in the top two leagues alone.
