Adding a manager to game

Sorry if this has been asked before but I’m struggling to find any answers for this

I added a new manager to my save game, this is controlled by myself as the budget I am dealing with is becoming tedious so wanted to sell my back up players for inflated prices, however when I switch between managers using the game status -> relinquish control after submitting a bid and then switching back to accept the offer, I then change back to offer a contract but the news article shows that the deal is cancelled

Yes this is technically cheating but I’m okay with that 😂 how am I supposed to do this or is it not possible on a single console?

While I appreciate the cheeky attempt, (we've all done the 'mysterious' £100 million bid from Man City ) this is not possible to do on FM Console.
