Can't select and drag on FM23 Touch Apple Arcade?

I am really enjoying the fm23 apple arcade on my iphone 13, but I have a problem.

During a player search, I can't seem to find a tapping/swiping motion that would allow me to scroll through the search results and highlight all the players that come at once.

I was able to do on fm22 touch on xbox by just holding down "a" and the right stick down to move the search results

Is there any way to do this on iphone, or Do i just have to tap every player's icon seperately to select them
