Adding a league split (E.G. SPFL)

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to reconstruct the Scottish league system, which includes expanding the Premiership from 12 to 16 teams. In real life, after three rounds of fixtures the league splits into two halves and each team plays one last round of fixtures against the other sides in their respective half. I want to keep this for the new 16 team league, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around as to how to add it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers!

The easiest way would be to do it in basic rules and then convert to advanced. Then you just have to fill in the date of the split, how many teams on each side and how many fixtures before/after the split and the editor will work out the complicated stuff for you.
