We're back in December with an unbeaten month, a Friendly Cup win, and two wins out of two in the SPL

We go into the New Year a point clear of Rangers, with a game in hand. It's a two horse race already

One more player arrived on deadline day, with three players leaving, although 2 were youngsters

Defensive midfielder Esposito arrives from Fiorentina. He's been signed as Nir Bitton is leaving at the end of his contract in the summer. We sacrificed Rochina as we already have Forrest and Christie on the right wing, and he wanted to leave anyway

Seven wins from nine in February. Six out of six in the league, but we got smashed in Europe, and dumped out of the cup by Rangers

Our lead at the top is 5 points, and we have a game in hand. We're almost mathematically assured top two already

Unbeaten in March, and one match from perfect

1693075519_Mar2023.PNG.b58a662d10ecd9cb27ec7ad298368dc7.PNG

but we couldn't turn dominance into 3 points in the second game against St Mirren

1601464603_StMa2023.PNG.142561a0711049ad468fe79526e96fe0.PNG

We're 13 points clear of Rangers, who we face in our final match before the league splits

Time for the end of season review

1970355921_Review23.1.PNG.eca726c76ba13f39a78227412e9e11d7.PNG

Beginning with the new arrivals

1023319749_Review23.2.PNG.ac54532c829de098d08fd2442a73bed5.PNG

We were near unstoppable in the run-in

1360960060_Review23.3.PNG.ea42f0a6b43b0e592ec61294df0cf634.PNG

and racked up some big wins

1279025748_Review23.4.PNG.1bf8e5312c70654496f50a967027fa23.PNG

Finances got worse, but are still not a problem. No surprise Edouard is our top shirt seller

1314671812_Review23.5.PNG.f388e47208444c2fef011cd17c60a852.PNG

Our Team of the Season looked like this

694668921_Review23.6.PNG.14ceac8ad5c4761e54cb7c38a9fd59a6.PNG

I won loads of awards, and Ryan Christie picked up a couple too

1995739234_Review23.7.PNG.bc5f5c83966a7b6b29ce83fbf3cf6ed0.PNG

and that's it. Confirmation that we dominated the league, but didn't win anything else

1537611369_Review23.8.PNG.9fe5e681d1080d5eb8851f420f81fbfc.PNG

One more opportunity for us to win the league again, and hopefully that elusive European trophy in our final season in charge.

There was plenty of transfer activity over the summer, and we got our signings in early

1971788755_TransfersJun2023.PNG.eb9cae8864c301c33b512b7c70c0c8f0.PNG

and players left the club right up to the start of the season

211543055_TransfersJul2023.PNG.15feb8b4e3b9ebee9a88511b9e9bfa09.PNG

We extended Baxter's loan as backup keeper

563138860_NBaxter.PNG.58355f4a822f33101dc48282b8e54160.PNG

Cresswell also comes back on loan at centre back

1464842131_CCresswell.PNG.e15c8a5d020772bd5557b0ac385a1fd2.PNG

as does Shackleton in midfield

1924415033_JShackleton.PNG.8a5ea70df528807c31dc90af81fe319b.PNG

John Souttar joins at centre back

Souttar.PNG.4ec5c0b754dcdb0a385d4fbb06d6be5c.PNG

Iorfa comes in at right back, but also as centre back cover

Iorfa.PNG.85a1e5dea519f5e2733816ffb40d5c85.PNG

Mendes is a right back, but doesn't have a work permit

Mendes.PNG.f25ac3d448afd3a65678d1856ed20661.PNG

and Cirkin comes in at left back

Cirkin.PNG.0dc191f98d229ecd70af911ff7abd9e0.PNG

Which leaves the squad looking like this. Ramiro Ruiz leaves on 1st January, so we'll sign a replacement in the next window

23.1.PNG.353f372c096d4445eabd112ac669a357.PNG23.2.PNG.70330ff96d471f5ea70f7598fb1557e9.PNG

Scoring 11 in one match certainly helps

Taking out the Livingston game with no score, means 11 in the other 5. Still a decent return.

One match from perfect in November, and we got what we deserved against bottom side Ayr as we put in our worst performance of the season

781406867_Nov2023.PNG.e9646e86807439186e92266e023ed392.PNG

We are still top, 6 points clear, but we need to stop tossing away silly points, as it negates the advantage gained from beating Rangers

December was affected by an injury to Edouard in the opening match, he didn't return until the Hamilton game

758680818_Dec2023.PNG.f17f345cc24828659ea62953a796450d.PNG

That leaves us 10 points clear. With the beta having dropped tonight, I'm going to power through the rest of the season as quickly as possible, but will still post updates each month.
