Javs Posted June 4, 2021 Share Posted June 4, 2021 The game allows you to send players down to your affiliate, even if that player is to old for the league in which the affiliate team plays in. For example, you are able to send a 20 year old to a U18 affiliate. I know there is an extra rule - 'affiliate movement max age', but that does not work if, for example, a U20 team has a lower level U20 affiliate and a U18 affiliate. NHL teams are constantly sending 19 year-old major junior players under contract to their AHL affiliates. And I've got USHL minimum contract age at 16 and the games fills rosters with 14 year olds.
