nolchantis
Series of events leading to incorrect offside call: 1. Free kick given to Stoke outside of box on left side of field near the touchline. 2. Free kick is taken as a side ways pass to a Stoke Player. Portsmouth back line step up, leaving 3-4 Stoke players in an offside position. Stoke player takes 1-2 touches before shooting the ball. 3. In an offside position, Chalobah deliberately shoots the ball into the net. In the replay, the Stoke players are judged for offside from when the free kick was taken, not when the second player shot the ball. Since there were multiple players offside when the ball was shot, and one of the players in an offside position was the one to score the goal, this goal should not have stood. Offside should be judged from the player taking the shot, not from the player passing to him (free kick or otherwise). Portsmouth v Stoke 1-2.pkm
dunk105
I can add another one: Bale to Kane: Incorrectly offside: Absolutely no excuse for this when the game is meant to implementing VAR.
