European scouting regions

Disclosure: I have not spent as much time playing the gam/learning the recent years scouting systems as much as I did when I played the game more frequently (up to FM15).

But I can see that the European scouting regions still are very unbalanced both in terms of numbers of countries (5 to 27) and area. These parameters may or may not have very much impact if I send a scout to a specific region, but I feel a need to balance it a bit more. If I'm not wrong UEFA have about 20 more members in 2020 than 20-25 years ago so in Football Manager it would be justified to rearrange the scouting regions from 5 to 6. My suggestion below, including current region and why the change is needed according to me.

Northern Europe (9):
Iceland (Scandinavia, is not part of Scandinavia geographically)
Faroe Islands (Scandinavia, is not part of Scandinavia geographically)
Norway
Denmark
Sweden
Finland (Scandinavia, is not part of Scandinavia geographically)
Estonia (Eastern Europe, the Eastern Block is not relevant anymore)
Latvia (Eastern Europe, the Eastern Block is not relevant anymore)
Lithuania (Eastern Europe, the Eastern Block is not relevant anymore)

Eastern Europe (9):
Russia
Belarus
Ukraine
Krim
Moldova
Romania
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Georgia

South-eastern Europe (11):
Croatia (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Bosnia & Herzegovina (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Serbia (Eastern Europe, but scouting regions need to be balanced)
Montenegro (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Albania (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Kosovo (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
North Macedonia (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Bulgaria (Eastern Europe, but scouting regions need to be balanced)
Greece (Southern Europe, not near Gibraltar though)
Turkey (Southern Europe, not near Gibraltar though)
Cyprus (Southern Europe, not near Gibraltar though)

Western Europe (10):
Ireland
Northern Ireland
Scotland
England
Wales
The Netherlands (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)
Belgium (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)
Luxembourg (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)
France (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)
Monaco (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)

South-western Europe (7):
Portugal (Central Europe, but not if you look on a map)
Spain (Central Europe, but not if you look on a map)
Andorra (Central Europe, but not if you look on a map)
Gibraltar (Southern Europe, not near Cyprus though)
Italy (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)
San Marino (Central Europe, but regions need to be balanced)

Central Europe (9):

Switzerland

Austria
Slovenia (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Slovakia (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
Hungary (Eastern Europe, that's a stretch)
