How to send us saves so that we can fix issues you report

If you experience a bug or a gameplay issue, we will in many cases need to take a look at your save games. There are now two ways to do this.

As a general rule, it helps if you can send a save from just before the bug you are reporting appears so that we can reproduce the appearance of the bug internally

Sending Saves from the game's in-built system

We have a new system that you can use to send us saves. This is best used as soon as you see a bug

  1. Tap the Options menu (the gear)
  2. Tap 'Settings'
  3. Tap 'View'
  4. Tap 'Support & Legal'
  5. Tap the 'Report an Issue' button
  6. Select the issue type
  7. Press the 'Add Saved Game' toggle to activate the save upload functionality
  8. Tap the purple area to select a save to upload
  9. Please select a save if possible from just before the bug appears
  10. Press 'Send Report'
  11. Open your mail client from the picker
  12. Add description of the issue in the designated area of the email template that appears
  13. Send the email!

Extracting a Save to send via Owncloud

In order to make sure the save game you send us is the right one please follow these steps.

  1. First turn off Automatic Weekly Saves, it is on by default (Options > Settings > 'Automatic Weekly Save')
  2. Then exit the game, you can save your game in a save slot if you wish.
  3. Load an auto save, there will be two, load the one closet to the date the bug occurs.
  4. Save the game, be careful not to overwrite a save game you might want.
  5. Send this save to us. you can now turn Automatic Weekly Saves back on and continue with your save.

Uploading files through Owncloud

We also tend to ask for you to send us files when you are experiencing a bug or gameplay issue.

You can do this by visiting https://oc.sigames.com/owncloud/index.php/s/Kzvhd0MdU3v4Nv4.

If you are on an Android device, you can access your save or PKM in the Files app (Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2021 Mobile/normal/games).

If you are on an iOS device, you can access them by connecting your device to iTunes and selecting File Sharing. The files will be in the FM21 Mobile page.

When uploading the files, it would be greatly appreciated if you could rename the file to something specific relating to your issue or just by putting your username, so we know who and what the file is when looking for it in the system
